This achievement is part of a multi-step process to unlock the ability to enter the Memory of Scholomance, an instanced version of the original Scholomance dungeon.

First, you must have the Krastinov's Bag of Horrors toy. Enter Scholomance, either on normal or heroic, use the toy, and kill Darkmaster Gandling. Go upstairs to the southern room, and run over to a bone pile with a conspicuously bright bone sticking out of it. Eva Sarkhoff will spawn, though your disguise will terrify her. Right click off the toy's buff and you'll then be able to talk to her. She charges you with performing a ritual from her journal, and gives you an Inert Spectral Essence.

The ritual items are as follows:
Caer Darrow Fountain Water - found as a bucket on the fountain in Caer Darrow, near the front gates
The Deed to Andorhal - found in the Andorhal town hall in Andorhal, Western Plaguelands (/way 43.6, 69.2)
Undelivered Shipment of Smokes - found in King's Square in Stratholme, in a small box on a wagon
The Road Ahead - found in the inn in Corrin's Crossing, Eastern Plaguelands (/way 55.0, 64.1)
Trampled Doll - found near a meatwagon in Darrowshire, Eastern Plaguelands (/way 35.7, 83.7)
Eva's Journal - found behind a bookshelf in the southwest corner of the Viewing Room in Scholomance
Eva's Femur - found sticking out of the pile of bones near where you talked to Eva

The four green items get traded in to NPCs in Caer Darrow (make sure you're wearing your Spectral Essence)
- Artist Renfray -> The Road Ahead -> Imported Candle -> in a house near the docks
- Joseph Dirte -> Caer Darrow Fountain Water -> Stinky Candle -> standing by a shack on the western edge of Caer Darrow, one level below Scholomance
- Magister Marduke -> The Deed to Andorhal - > Authentic Andorhal Candle -> standing near the entrance to Scholomance, near the Sarkhoffs
- Rory -> Undelivered Shipment of Smokes -> Tobacco - Filled Candle -> standing on the docks
- Sammy -> Trampled Doll -> Ghost-warding Candle - next to the fountain

Take all the candles, the femur, and the journal to the small room near the Scholomance instance portal in Caer Darrow (/way 69.7, 71.9). Use the journal, and you will unlock the Memory of Scholomance! You can enter the instance as many times as you want by clicking the book summoned by the ritual. This achievement IS account wide, meaning any alt will be able to enter the instance once you've done it on one character.

If you're still holding on to a Spectral Essence from back in the Vanilla days, Eva Sarkhoff won't give you an Inert Spectral Essence. I dug my original essence out of the bank, and I am in the process of collecting the ritual items right now.

Once you use all the items in the correct spot, at that same spot a little altar pops up and you click the book and select the dialog option and you get ported into old Scholomance.

When entering the building entrance to Scholomance, rather than turning left to enter the dungeon, turn right and go all the way back to the room with the bones on the ground and a grate in the middle of the floor. That is where you need to use Eva's Journal. Once the ritual is complete, this achievement will pop and Eva's Enchanted Journal will now appear permanently. Use the book to enter the original vanilla Scholomance.

DO NOT ACCEPT THE "Welcome Back Pack" IF YOU PLAN ON RUNNING THESE ON OLDER CHARACTERS. The files make the game think you just boosted the character to 60 and they will lock you out of legacy dungeons and raids on that character for the day.

Return To Naxxramas: A Comprehensive Guide

New to Patch 10.1.5 is the return of much of Classic WoW's Scourge themed content, along with some new content, and the the triumphant yet expensive return of Tier 3 Armor sets.
This quick guide will break down the steps needed to access the original Scholomance dungeon, as well as access the new content found in Stratholme & Naxxramas.

Step 0: The Prerequisites:
Before you can get the ball rolling and start the quest chain, there's a Toy you or someone in your party will need to have access to: Krastinov's Bag of Horrors
This Toy is a guaranteed drop from Doctor Theolen Krastinov in Heroic Scholomance. The catch, unfortunately, is that he's not guaranteed to spawn.
He has a chance of spawning after Rattlegore is defeated, and will /yell "The doctor is in!" and replace one of the trash mobs in the next room.

You'll also need to be at least Honored with the Argent Dawn, but Revered can be easily reached in about 15 minutes by doing some quests in Eastern Plaguelands. Click here for a simple guide.

There's also some item needed along the way to repair trinkets or complete turn ins. Keep in mind that players that completed the content back in the day won't need most of these.
If you've completed the old content and don't receive the trinkets, make sure to check your bank/void storage as they are unique.
It'll save you time buying these advance:

Depending on your standing with the Argent Dawn, you will also need:

Honored: Large Brilliant Shard x6, Arcane Crystal x3, Righteous Orb x1, 60 Gold
Revered: Large Brilliant Shard x3, Arcane Crystal x2, 30 Gold
Exalted: None

Step 1: The Forbidden Ritual
Once you have Krastinov's Bag of Horrors, or someone in your party does, you can begin your journey by zoning into Scholomance and clearing the entire dungeon to the end,
After defeating Darkmaster Gandling, enter the top center room and stand by the old bone pile while the Toy's buff is active to summon Eva Sarkhoff.
Removing the Toy's buff will make Eva interactable, and she will offer you the Inert Spectral Essence, which you can immediately repair if you gathered the materials beforehand.
Before you exit the dungeon, make sure to grab Eva's Femur from the bone pile beside the NPC, and backtrack to pick up Eva's Journal, which can be found on the bookcase in the Viewing Room.

With your now repaired Spectral Essence in hand, you will be able to do the next step, which is a series of fetch quests to buy candles for the ritual.
Make sure you have the trinket equipped, or you won't be able to see the NPCs!
You'll need to gather the following:
Artist Renfray (/way #22 65.8 75.4) - Trades The Road Ahead (/way #23 55.0 64.1) for Imported Candle
Magistrate Marduke (/way #22 70.5, 74.0) - Trades The Deed to Andorhal (/way #22 43.6 69.3) for Authentic Andorhal Candle
Joseph Dirte (/way #22 68.0 74.8) - Trades Caer Darrow Fountain Water (/way #22 68.8 78.9) for Stinky Candle
Sammy (/way #22 69.1 78.7) - Trades Trampled Doll (/way #23 35.7 83.7) for Ghost-Warding Candle
Rory (/way #22 63.4 75.5) - Trades Undelivered Shipment of Smokes (Found by the Live side of Stratholme's fountain) for Tobacco-Filled Candle

Once you have the Journal and all 5 Candles, make your way over to Scholomance, but take a right instead of a left, and head to the back room filled with bones.
Using the journal here will earn you Memory of Scholomance, and give you account wide access to the original version of Scholomance through Eva's Enchanted Journal.

Step 2: Back To School
You can safely bank/destroy Spectral Essence (You can get a replacement from Eva Sarkhoff outside the dungeon).

Note: Some veteran players might not be able to obtain Argent Dawn Commission in the dungeon. If you have your original, you can use it.
If you no longer have it, you can get a free replacement from Argent Quartermaster Lightspark, or Argent Quartermaster Hasana.
Old Argent Dawn Trinkets like Seal of the Dawn and Seal of the Dawn also work, if you still have them.

Newer players will need to make their way into Old Scholomance, down the the basement (Underneath the Great Ossuary) and kill Rattlegore and loot the Viewing Room Key.
If you examine the bone pile by the stairs, you'll be able to loot the Cracked Argent Dawn Commission, which you can immediately repair.
Make sure you equip the trinket before going forward, to spare having to run the dungeon twice!
Make your way back up to the viewing room, and unlock the door. Take your first left downstairs, and clear all 6 rooms of mobs/bosses to spawn Darkmaster Gandling.
If you have the trinket equipped he'll drop Darkmaster's Scourgestone, which can be turned in to Duke Nicholas Zverenhoff at Light's Hope, allowing you to obtain Invader's Scourgestone from bosses in Old Scholomance / Stratholme while the trinket is equipped.

Step 3: Race To Slap The Hand of Naxxramas
Note: Now that you can obtain Invader's Scourgestone from dungeon bosses, it should be noted that you'll need 20 of them to complete the quest in Naxxramas that unlocks the vendor, so if you want to take a look around Old Scholomance and grab some removed transmog/recipes, feel free to do so.

The third step of our journey lies in the depths of everyone's favorite bony pony repository: Stratholme!
After entering the dungeon through the front gates (not the side entrance!), patrol the streets until you encounter a stealthed Eye of Naxxramas. Killing it will yield Ward of Naxxramas, but don't use it right away.
As you make your way towards the Crusader's Square, loot any Stratholme Supply Crate you see until you have at least 2 Stratholme Holy Water. One for now, one for later.
In the Crusader's Square, use Ward of Naxxramas, then head to the Southern Gate until you spot the Dread Ward of Naxxramas.
Using Stratholme Holy Water on the Ward will give you the debuff Sleight of Hand, which will serve as the timer for what comes next: Stratholme Speedrun!

Living Side Route | Dead Side Route

You'll need to make your way from the Crusder's Square all the way to the end of the Slaughter Square, killing all 3 bosses in the Gauntlet, and even Lord Aurius Rivendare.
Once you've completed the run and slain the Baron, head through the South Gate of the Slaughter Square, and use the extra action button to slay the Hand of Naxxramas.
If you're successful, you'll need to return to Light's Hope, and talk to Archmage Angela Dosantos. Exhausting their dialog and completing the quest they offer will give you Wards of the Dread Citadel, unlocking account-wide access to the secrets found within Naxxramas.
Note: Access to Scourgestones also means access to Archived Crafting Techniques, which Crafters will want to get their hands on. They're purchasable from Quartermaster Miranda Breechlock for Argent Dawn Valor Token x6 each.

Step 4: Guess Who's Back, Back Again
Note: You should now no longer need to have Argent Dawn Commission equipped to loot Scourgestones, as Empowered Argent Dawn Commission should be applied automatically to all your characters when they zone into Old Scholomance/Stratholme/Naxxramas.
However some people are reporting not receiving the buff until they unlock the vendor in Naxxramas and manually enable the buff through a dialogue option, so make sure to check before you bank/destroy your Commision.

With your Stratholme completed, you can now make use of the new portal to Naxxramas located in Eastern Plaguelands at (/way #23 35.7 22.9) and finally make your triumphant return to the shadowed halls of Naxxramas.
In order to access the new hidden vendor, you'll need to channel your inner Zelda and fashion yourself a grappling hook: Makeshift Grappling Hook
You can find the components quite easily through the raid:

Note: Make sure to loot any bosses you kill in Naxxramas for Corruptor's Scourgestone. You'll need 5 for the vendor quest.
You can also now find Frozen Rune affixed to the walls of the raid. Don't forget to grab some for crafting!

Once complete, you're now ready to tackle reaching the new vendor, located at the final room of the Contruct Quarter.
Defeat Thaddius, and you should be able to see small grapple points that will lead up and across the room.
If you're having trouble spotting them, Neryssa released a handy video guide to help you reach the NPC.
When you reach Zackett Skullsmash, you can wake him up using your second Stratholme Holy Water, and if you've been following the guide so far, you can immediately complete Inconvenience Fee to receive Mutually Beneficial Transactions account wide.
Turning in the quest will unlock the NPC at the entrance of Naxxramas, where he will trade Scourgestones for a new currency: Death's Bargaining Chip
These can be traded for a variety of goods, including:

Slime-Covered Scroll - Used to learn new crafting recipes for Naxxramas gear/weapons.
Plagued Grain - New Toy that drops a crate of plagued grain on the ground.
Rotten Delicious - Used to obtain the Reins of Valiance mount.
Dented Raider's Spaulders - These armor pieces have a chance of containing armor tokens (Ie:Lamented Crusader's Spaulders) needed to craft Tier 3 Armor.

Step 5: Crafting Up A Storm
Your journey is almost at an end! For those that didn't receive Empowered Argent Dawn Commission before entering Naxxramas, you can now talk to Zackett Skullsmash to enable it.
As for what's left, there's still one secret left to unearth: Frost Resist Gear Recipes!
First you will need to located Omarion's Second Handbook, found in the first room of the Military Quarter in a cage.
Turning this in to Master Craftsman Omarion at Light's Hope Chapel will allow you to collect pages cleverly hidden throughout Naxxramas, which you can return to Omarion to unlock acccount wide access to the old Frost Resist Gear recipes, as well as Putting Wilhelm Out of Business.
Each recipe will cost Argent Dawn Valor Token x3, which can be obtained by exchanging 1 Corruptor's Scourgestone or 10 Invader's Scourgestone to Duke Nicholas Zverenhoff.

And with that, you're done! All that's left is to take up the optional task of farming Scourgestones for recipes/mount/toy & the daunting prospect of crafting Tier 3 Armor! Good luck!

An important step when you're doing the speedrun in Stratholme is remembering to kill the mobs inside each chamber after doing the bosses in the gauntlet (Nerub'enkan, Baroness Anastari, Maleki The Pallid and Magistrate Barthillas). Otherwise the gate which leads to Ramstein the Gorger and Lord Aurius won't open. The 5 minute timer ran out for me because if this... You can just run out and reset the instance of course, but it's still a bit annoying.
Once you've killed all the mobs in each chamber, you'll see a message in chat: Lord Aurius Rivendare yells: The Ash'ari Crystals have been destroyed! The Slaughterhouse is vulnerable.

After you have found the Eva's Journal and talked to Eva, you need to travel around the Plaguelands to get some items (Caer Darrow Fountain Water, The Deed to Andorhal, Trampled Doll, The Road Ahead and Undelivered Shipment of Smokes) to trade with dead people near Scholomance for the candles (Stinky Candle, Authentic Andorhal Candle, Ghost-Warding Candle, Imported Candle and Tobacco-Filled Candle), which are needed to perform the ritual.

Then move towards the entrance to the Scholomance instance, but instead of turning left into the instance turn right and follow the corridor left until you reach a room with a metal grate on the floor (/way # 22 69.79 71.86).

Click on the Eva's Journal and voila, achievement.

Now that you are there, click on the book on the pedestal, complete the old, wonderful Scholomance instance and kill Gandling (kill everything in the rooms for him to spawn) and loot Darkmaster's Scourgestone - and the adventure continues.

If you are an old player who are exalted with the Argent Dawn, equip your old Argent Dawn Commission and Spectral Essence - check that you have the Krastinov's Bag of Horrors - and head to Scholomance (in Western Plaguelands) and start at Step 1 from Eddafred's comment on this page: "Once you have Krastinov's Bag of Horrors, or someone in your party does, you can begin your journey by zoning into Scholomance and clearing the entire dungeon to the end. After defeating Darkmaster Gandling..."

If you are like me and pre-bought a buncha stuff for this quest:

You better not be a veteran player.

I already had the Spectral Essence from Vanilla, so Eva Sarkhoff just gave me that. I also already had the Argent Dawn Commission from Vanilla, so Argent Quartermaster Hasana just gave me that. I had to run around getting trash for the ghosties, but didn't have to restore or repair half my crap, which was nice.

Except, of course, that I already bought them, so pardon me while I re-list on AH...

After i brought my Tailor to level 70, I decided I wanted to buy the (old) tailoring recipes from Omarion in Light Hope Chapel. With my Tailor Warlock I flew to Light Hope Chapel. There I found out he didn't sell recipes. After a quick research I found out I had to go to Naxxramas to find a book in a cage. Since i've never been to Naxxramas before, I first flew to the wrong country, went back to Stormwind, where, after some more research, it appeared to be the right country. For the first time in my life I entered Naxxramas (playing since Vanilla (i'm a lover, not a fighter)). I found the cage, but: no book. After some research on Wowhead i figured i had to get some achievements first. I had to start with the toy Krastinov's bag of horrors in Scholomance. On my toon with tailoring the book didn't drop. I forgot that i was able to reset instances tbh, so i thought i had to wait until next day (started playing in vanilla, go figure ;P). But then I realized I got alts. And the unlocking of the book will be account wide. So i logged my main, a Hunter. I did try the /tar doc at the entrance (and some more times tbh) and i got lucky, the toy dropped at first try.
Further on this path I went into Stratholme and started killing some bosses. Don't do that. The eye won't appear. By this time I realized I could reset the instance. So I flew out to Lighthope Chapel to empty bags and send its content to my bank alt (its all on AH guys), and flew back again.
Next step to do: the speed run. I found out my hunter was way too slow (or I cant decently play it). Reading more comments on Wowhead someone suggested to log a toon with speedbuffs. I surfed around the internet and found out that druids and demonhunters are considered the fastest chars. So I logged my druid, who has friendly standing with The Argent Dawn, and flew to Stratholme. WRONG!
Unlike my hunter, who got the ward after just a few kills, I didn't get it even after clearing all the streets in the first part. I thought maybe I should wear the Argent Dawn Commission trinket. it seemed unlikely to me that I still had it in my bank. To save myself a long trip to a city with a bank, I decided to question Duke Nicolas Zverenhoff at Lights Hope Chapel. This one had no trinket. Quartermaster Miranda, standing next to him, also had no trinket. After some searching on wowhead I found out that I had to go to the Quartermaster in Chillwind Camp. Once there, I could indeed ask for a trinket, but his spell (probably to create one) remained stuck. With a deep sigh I decided to use my hearthstone to return to Stormwind to search in my bank bags. And what do you think? There was indeed an Argent Dawn Commission trinket in my bank!
Anyway, with the Druid's speed buffs I finished the speedrun first try. Then I went to Lights Hope Chapel to question Angela Dosantos. WRONG!

Archmage Angela Dosantos was NOT in Lights Hope Chapel, but in Tyr's Hand (coords 73, 74, at the entrance gate). I talked to her and she called me a fantasist! Back to wowhead, but there it really said that I had to talk to her. When I turned my eyes back to the screen, it turned out that she had a quest after all. She wanted all the items that I already had on my hunter, and I also had to be honored with Argent Dawn!
Sigh, logging back onto my hunter. My hunter was still in Light's Hope Chapel, and lo and behold: next to the stairs sat Angela Dos Santos, with Quest! The achievement Wards of the Dread Cital was mine!
Now there should be a portal to Naxxramas in Eastern Plaguelands. My coords addon is still from Vanilla and consists of 4 numbers. So I thought that in the description of Eddafred the coordinates were 23.7. However, at that point in Easter Plaguelands I flew into an invisible wall at 23.13.
Surfing the internet again. On Wowpedia I found the coordinates 35.22. When I got there I found a pot on the fire, but other than that...NOTHING. I decided to fly around a bit, looking for the image as shown on Wowpedia and lo and behold! South of the pot was actually the portal!
So inside, but oh yes, reset, so back outside, reset, and set to heroic.

Then: collecting the pages: I had already cleared two quarters. So on to the rest of the military quarter.
With Razivious I discovered that you first have to kill the boss before the grapple becomes visible. Half an hour had passed before I tried that.
I'm not very good at controlling my char. So when I got to the pages where you have to jump on the different tubes, it took me an hour to get there.
Of course I forgot to grab pages here and there, so I had to walk all the way back multiple times, but finally, after about 8 hours of work, I am the proud owner of the achievement Putting Wilhelm Out of Business. And now to work, to collect 33 Argent Dawn Valor Tokens to collect all the Tailoring recipe’s. (10 scourgestones per token, so that is erm...never mind, I'll see it when i get there). And after that Leatherworking and Blacksmithing recipes. You really gotta love this game.. ;)

After you make your Makeshift Grappling Hook you need to right click on it to be able to see the grapple points to hook onto
