Amazing. It's incredible to see how strong the original art direction was to still carry up to this day.Low fantasy is the best fantasy setting.
Do I see.. The Grandfather!
Man, can we get some of these things in WOW? Like, Shadowlands models are so plain and we already copy pasting Diablo anyway, just snatch some stuff from D2 too!
The Stormshield looks awesome.
So far all of the models have been exceptionell, but the skins for Messer and that other axe are hilariously bad. Why is the blade so small and the handle that long? Completely different from the original and even Diablo 1. Kinda sad.
I love to see how realistic they look, which is great given that the originals all had real weapons as design references. Can't wait to try them on the characters themselves, to see how they look!
Now I have a good excuse to make a paladin.
I love how close they stick to the original icons. And yeah, I like that they are realistic.
Holy crap, these look like actual real weapons! After years of using humongous neon plastic sticks in WoW, this... this... /cries tears of joy
I wish there were more shields in WoW like this. They are simple but impressive looking. Just a nice round shield with a gem in the middle is so great or a crest of a wolf or phoenix or a tower, some thing to give character to the characters. I am still disappointed we didn't get those cool shields from the new intro experience. They had different little crests on them and stuff that could be used to tell a backstory or be a family crest. Our characters used to be solo mercenaries, not just soldier of the horde/alliance. They should have more random crests and functional-looking shields like this.
God, please show these to the Wow team so they can remember what weapons and shields look like.
awesome models... i would definitely want that first one in RL as it has a bonus bottle opener built in
The Crystal Sword looks too clean imo, in the original it looked more organic.
