The burning crusade crusade
I do also feel like the only way to currently counter botting is to have more GM's checking out reports instantly. Then again i have very little faith it's going to happen, especially during starts of seasons when there is an increase in other tickets and reports as well.
Tried to use the milling addon, there is no interface options and no way to access it in-game?
You know whats going to happen to botters? absolutely nothing... blizzard dont care one bit, they view the bot subscriptions as active monthly users on their metric (to please shareholders) and revenue. Guarantee you TBC will be full of botters exactly how classic was and exactly how retail is (reported 10 druids herbing 24/7 5 weeks ago and they are still going strong to this day).
To combat botters, I think Blizzard can implement a rule such that an item cannot be reposted within the time frame of the current posting. For example, if you posted an item for 12 hours and canceled the auction, you cannot repost it before the original 12 hours are up. Same goes for 24 and 48 hour options.
