Champion of the Naaru - this is basically an achievement that says: I have completed something when it was hard, and it can no longer be completed now that everyone outlevels it.
The Twilight Zone (10 player)I had to soloheal Obsidian Sanctum with three drakes still alive as a resto shaman (Sarinu, on 8/09/09). Though it was very stressy to heal, it was an awesome fight back then! We wiped once( Yes the tank died :o ) but the second time we got her! Only 2 people died... on the adds... when she was dead... looting ftw! I didn't get the mount though but that didn't matter at all! ;)Greetings
My favourite achievement? Well there are lot and i would like to say 'I love all'' but... The achievement i like more than any other achievement is clearly Stood in the Fire , i remember how i got it. I was questing in the Twilight Highlands, and as i was about to stab a Twilight cultist i could see it...The sky was red.....it was nice sight until Deathwing's Molten Flame reached me :)Anyway i got the achievment and it did also kill enough npcs to complete two of my quests. it saved me lots of time and i've always ben looking forward getting this achievement so yes, it is my favourite achievement and im proud of it (even though most would say, that getting killed shouldnt be an achievement)
I'm most proud of The Explorer. It's not hard, but it is something you have to go out of your way to do and lets you see a lot of the game.
A Tribute to Immortality, I guess. We just put a lot of effort into it to make sure noone dies at Faction Champions, especially the clothies with lots of "creative" ideas. Also, every single time a new set of debuffs was applied at Anub'Arak my heart stopped for a second. It was just really intense and even though the mount looks kinda lame (in my opinion), I'm pretty proud of it.
Mr. Pinchy's Magical Crawdad BoxI know, thats a farmer achievement. But after weeks of trying to get him in order to reach the title 'salty' you can only imagine how glad I was:D
He Feeds On Your Tears (25 player) hands down. The effort my guild and I put in it combined with the millions of gold spent on repairs makes it the achievement I am most proud of.
Bane of the Fallen King is probably most dearest to me as it was first time me and my soulmate achieved something that we had worked really really hard and seriously, experiencing the hard downfalls, backstabs and most epic moments with everyone else. It was one epic ending of one epic story!
Veteran of the Shifting Sands is my favourite. It's verry rare and I am proud of it. It is back in those days that WoW was full of pros that didn't wiped on Magmaw cos nobody moved from fire and indeed it was such a fun to get the achivement. It was hard and I spend a lot of time doing it. Now I love to link this achi instead of the requested one when they ask me for achi for Baradin Hold for example. The opening in the European realm of Neptulon was indeed an experience of a lifetime! We were almost the hole guild working together for it and I remember these endless nights with our Guild Master telling us jokes all the time (And I was trying to speak German wich was also quite funny). Now I feel very happy when I see a person with the same achi......it somehow.....connects us.:) :) :)
The achievement that I am most proud of has to be Wrecking Ball. You have to get 20 killing blows in a single battleground without dying. I did this 2 years ago while I was in a PUG WSG. I am proud of this achievement because I am not a PVPer at all. I don't like to PVP. Yeah I have a PVP rank from classic but I haven't PVP since. I had no resilience, didn't know anyone else on my team but was able to defend our flag without dying and we ended up winning the match because of how awesome we all were together. I still have a screenshot of that achievement and of the Leader board at the end. I love that achievement. It means more to me than me working my way for the Insane title. I never thought I would get that achievement outside of AV so to do it in WSG makes me happy. It might not be a big deal to most people but I enjoy that one the most.
Glory of the Icecrown Raider (10 player) and Bane of the Fallen King just because i actually managed to clear all bosses in a expansion :)
My favorite achievement would definitely have to be when my old casual guild finally got The Frozen Throne (10 player), after months of banging our heads against the metaphorical wall everything just clicked. It might not have been the fastest, or cleanest kill, but when we hit that 10% and we all screamed like giddy school girls, i swear it was one of the best days of my lives. Also, our warrior dps releasing when we were killed at 10% was hilarious.
Mine is "What a Long Strange Trip It's Been." I did it on 6 characters so far. I's a long term commitment and it feels great when you get there.
