Or the time should at least be an hour instead of 6 minutes.
I'm cool with this.
I was hoping for a movement speed increase or something, but this is pretty nice, too.The bonus rested XP is still in the realm of helping characters outlevel content though. Surprised they went with that.
I like this soooo much more than just the xp boost. With the reduction of xp required to level, this more than makes up for it. Plus it’s actually interesting. As someone who has level capped every class since WotLK, I love this change to heirlooms.
This is bull$hit! They should give EVERY PLAYER 5000 gold for every single heirloom they currently own for doing this! We spend dozens of thousands, even hundreds of thousands for heirlooms to help us level up alts and now it will all be for nothing! Hey Blizzard, where I come from we call that a S.C.A.M.!
I do not like this.
Useless crap, because you are not leaving your new character resting long enough to make new bonus meaningful. And they didnt even improved heirloom stats back to rare+ levels.I'd like to have my gold back, especially 100+ part.
I'm fine with the removal of XP bonus, but these effects seem a bit underwhelming. I'd prefer something like this:
While I actually think the 4 piece is pretty cool, especially if it does enough damage to 1 shot anything your currently fighting and trying to get that buff 100% uptime will give some spice to leveling. Though I think that buff should be something huge. Like 20% to crit, haste, mastery, vers, and move speed. That way your driven to not waste the buff turning in quests. But my suggestions for the bonuses are... 2 piece: gives -50% rested exp consumption rate.4 piece: increases exp rewarded from exploring by 500% and increases exp from rares and treasures by 100%6: while out of combat, your considered rested and you generate rested exp from this source of rested much faster.(what do you guys think? 200% 500% 1000%?)Instead of getting a flat buff to exp for everything. This encourages people to get out and play while passively giving you rested exp that lasts longer. It also encourages you to explore the world. Getting meaningful exp from just revealing all of your map while also making leveling from treasure a rare hunting more viable. I personally like the idea of trying to level from 1 to 50 without ever killing a mob. . Just from exploring and treasure hunting. Sort of like a pacifist challange.
Nice change!
I mix and match heirloom pieces on my alts (mostly to get a roughly even amount of crit and haste). Does that mean I won't get the set bonus, or will this work differently to ordinary sets?Other than the ambiguity there, I think this is a pretty cool bonus, and one of the better replacements we could have had IMO.
If I'm reading this correctly, everyone should be able to get the 6 piece bonus. Even if you haven't been able to acquire the rings, you can buy the necklaces. I recall what a pain in the ass it was to get my rings (both fishing and ship yard), so I'm hoping that folks will still be able to get a 6 piece set fairly easily.Counts towards set bonus:
I wonder how the Garrosh heirloom weapons will work in this rebalance.
