I'm honestly looking forward to this: new dungeons, raids & PvP for the hard-core and a huge continent to explore for people like me who rarely raid or M+ or PvP. They've deliberately hid a lot of the lore and storyline this time, so we've yet to discover that aspect - which is one of the things that evokes (pardon the pun) a connection to the world of the game. Wrath of the Lich King and Legion were both good examples of that. They also mentioned in one early interview that there will be stories (and quests?) to discover that they have deliberately not published yet. Secret Finding Discord rejoice! (The three days I spent "helping" out with the Lucid Nightmare in Legion were the most fun I'd had in game for ages). They've also gone back to fix the basics of game-play that players have been complaining about since WoD/Legion. Talent trees are back and, whilst there will no doubt be a lot of tweaking required as thousands of players find "unique" combinations that break gameplay, it's a good start. No more "borrowed power" systems so hopefully our gear stays relevant through the levelling process. Professions relevant again so crafters like me will definitely have something to do. (Though I'm unsure yet as to whether the work order system will just be for Dragonflight, or will include old expansion patterns at some point).I suspect there are other game-content pieces that they have up their sleeve. Probably not for 10.0, as they'll have plenty to do with fixing and tuning the initial release and changes, but I certainly don't ascribe to the doomsayers already tolling their bell of woe without even having played the alpha.
