Awesome. So next season I'll be stuck with gear 6 ilvls under what I could have. Full season of myth options from m+ still no weapon or shield for my tank.
so crafting gear will be going from something worth having to just being filler gear like it use to be before dragonflight. guess i should expect to see less crafting orders since theres less of a reason to make them outside of early ilvl gains at the start of the season. crafting did have a good run with making good gear
Something needs to be done to make raiding get it's power spikes like they used to.I get it, set bonuses are needed for M+ too, but those were "THE" player progression back in the day, where near-endbosses dropped your 4th piece and that's what the ONLY source of the set bonus.They try to make "rare" raid items, but they aren't the power spikes/player progression that feels satisfactory.Maybe we need some items that maybe work in raid-only? The normal endboss can drop an item which increases the set bonus by 25%, heroic 50%, mythic 100%, only active in raids.Or OP trinkets which change your playstyle like Archimonde's from HFC.It's nonsense that by week 2 most serious characters are in 90% bis already.The power curve/difficulty should be A LOT more linear.
There are barely any embellishments interesting enough to play anyway. Professions are dead
Definitely not a big fan, while I think Season 2 was a tad more harmful that you could have full mythic gear just from crafting this season did strike a pretty solid balance. Not as good as the best mythic raid gear, but good enough to be supplementary.
I just wish they got rid of those worthless embelishments already.
Objectively a bad change, 6 ilvls is too much to trade for embellishments.Normies get lower ilvl gears, top notch players losing maximum power.Literally no one asked for this. Hello, devs?
In terms of gearing, I could see the reasoning for doing this even if I don't necessarily agree it is the right choice. But for crafters, I really don't like it as it makes crafting items less important and negates the work that people have put into their crafting skills.
Curious decision to nerf crafted gear, with the crafting overwork being one of the few major changes of the current xpac. It's the last season, no one cares if we are in any way overpowered (not that crafted gear ever was that strong). So it's just a big fu for all crafters who invested in their profession.

Posted this 2 weeks ago. Nice that you catch up so "fast". Garbage nerf. Short season and they are nerfing crafted gear for no reason? Why should you even craft something if you can get better gear via upgrade path. 522 is max Hero ilvl, can also just upgrade my m+ and heroic raid items.
This sucks. They did so well with Seasons 1 and 2.
