So it's finally in the works for sure then, after hearing so many rumors about a World of Warcraft movie for so many years we will get one. I'm already excited to be honest, having followed the lore of Warcraft since Orcs & Humans this just feels like one giant trip down nostalgia lane at the moment!
This post was from a user who has deleted their account.
sad they can show a teaser at comic-con, but nothing for blizzcon. thought they said blizzcon trumps comic-con
I really hope its amazing.
I don't know if I am more excited for the movie or for the level 100 DK talents!
I've been w8ing for this movie forever!
I've been really looking forward to Wildstar... but some of these new changes make it sound like WoW might continue to draw me back!
So much good news! i would love to work at blizz :))
This will be awesome! I wonder what the plot will be! not to mention who the actors will be
It's nice after years of speculations and rumors to finally have something concrete to look forward to.
I was excited for this from the moment I heard about it back when it was first mentioned. Now it's finally happening! I can't wait for it!Also Tyrael's Hilt..
But if the movie starts, or tells, the story of the first Warcraft Games the Horde is actually evil, controlled by the Burning Legion trained warlocks, their only warring goal is to cross the Dark Portal and rape everything they found in the other side for the sake of nothing but ganking; even if the script is located at the time of the Second War we still have an evil Horde ravaging Azeroth lands. Well, I hope that WoW movie will kick ass and that it would not look like Eragon pft.
Im looking for that movie hopefully it comes soon!
Now we just need a Diablo and a Starcraft movie!
Here's hoping the casting is good. Actors to suit the parts rather than grabbing the latest "in" actor.
There was a Q&A question about franchising WoW out; making trilogies and TV shows. There's a great Charlton Heston quote: "The trouble with movies as art is that they're a business, and the trouble with movies as a business is that they're art." Duncan Jones and Rob Pardo hinted at this problem, but put in more vulgar terms it comes down this: In a capitalist society, if you want there to be more of something, it has to make money. If you would like to see WoW movie sequels and WoW TV series' then you have to buy a ticket and make the first outing a success.
Personally, I'd love to see a movie about Tirion's story eventually.
