My favorite WoW era is made into a movie, what's not to love. And if you believe Blizzard, the director plays WoW which means hopefully, he will be put a lot of love in the movies. Not to mention the LOTR reference, which I believe made a lot people super excited about the movies. The scale of the fights sure calls for LOTR-like battles, Helm's Deep anyone? Can't wait!
I would so watch the movie..Please let me win the contest I never win anything
So looking forward to the premise of a WoW movie. From reading the writeup of the panel on the movie, it really sounds like they've assembled a kickass team of people. Pumped!
I am overjoyed that it is going ahead. I really can not wait to see this one - the kids and I will be there with bells on! The youngest (a 10yo boy) has spent every spare moment since we heard trying to read up on possible plot elements. He is a future Loremaster in the making! The eldest however is more interested in the combat scenes.I think the stuff we have heard about TV is an interesting slant - that if they could go back TV may have been an option. Perhaps we might see a TV spin off from the movie! Wouldn't that be exciting!Unfortunately though I suspect that both boys and myself will be relocated to the dog house by the mrs if we can't soon change the subject.
Really looking forward to this!
blizzcon sounded fun
Very much looking forward to this. Just hoping it will be more Lord of The Rings and less... well, pick a 80s fantasy movie. (Just not Princess Bride, Dark Crystal, or Labyrinth. My childhood would weep. WEEP I SAY.)
hmmmmmm i dont know how i feel about the warcraft movie. game to movie adaptations have yet to have even a single stellar one
I'm excited to see Azeroth on the big screen. Looking forward to the "awesome graphics" in the movie. ;)
Nice.
need to see now god plz the movie is going to be a legand Live-Action the orcs are going to be real actors and not $%^& CG
too bad there was so little info about the movie. But that said. im going to see this movie the date it comes out, i will buy it on DVD, digital media ext. see it over 100 times.! Long live blizzard. im a 100% fanboy
As soon as they said Lothar I was sold. They picked the time of Lordaeron and that is my favourite Warcraft era, I'm a sucker for that. I would have seen the film anyway but now I'm properly excited for it. The concept art looking incredible, if they can actually bring that to life. I remember the first Thor movie and how Asgard just glittered, it was breathtaking. If they can create anything remotely like that then they'll have a visual winner regardless of anything else. So many good films coming out over the next few years!
I'm quite surprised they decided to go with the live action option, I really thought it was going to be all CGI. I am hoping they will cast un-knowns too, or really CGI over the actor as I don't think I'd like to recognise people as orcs :P Who knows, I am sure they kno what they're doing :)I was interested to hear about the orc language being developed though!
Huh, i didnt see the thing about Chunk Norris when i was reading this before. Quite funny, all things considered.
I am really looking forward for WoW Movie and really glad it is directed by someone that actually played it so it won't be one side good one bad (LotR 2).
I'm actually quite curious of how this is going to end up. There are so many good points of story from World of Warcraft. I wish I could afford to get all the books and read the great stories from this realm. But, this movie I would love to see it. :D I can't wait.
There better be murlocs! Happy blizzcon, see you next year!
OMG Amazing!
I remain sceptical.
