I hope blizzard will implement something about token price. It's insane how much it cost.
I've sold the darkmoon faire fish before. I wish I'd thought to look for the rabbit while fishing.
"What kind of maximum price would you pay for a Token with gold?"Certainly not the going 200k rate! I weep every time I look at the current token prices."Do you prefer to pay for your game time with a paid subscription even if class yourself as a gold-maker?" No, I am on disability and buying tokens is the only way I can afford to keep playing WoW. Due to the going rate of tokens and not really having the time to invest in making gold, I don't know how much longer I will be playing?"Do you buy Tokens to give yourself some gold in-game, if not how much gold would you need to get before you did so?"I have a couple times in the past, we are talking well over a year ago. Like I said, I'm on disability and my money is just to damn tight!
Very excited for the upcoming Darkmoon Faire! I have over 50+ Rep Tokens just waiting to be used. That will be a big boost. I was also considering getting the Darkwater Skate but some people say it's not that fast. I might just stick to my Reins of the Azure Water Strider for BfA, oh well.
I've been making quite come gold just by leveling my fishing artifact, you end up with a lot of fish and it still sells in AH, I really look forward some fishing updates from BfA beta.
Wow, so they are going to let us send actual money to people, or will it just be people in your frindslist. Could this not be used for general gold selling or other shady things? Imagine selling mounts for actual money! Only time will tell if this was a smart move by Blizzard. Really looking forward to Battle for Azeroth!
I used DMF to get a few profession points for some of my alts that I don't get to focus on during the start of the expansions. Currently the pets are also selling at 14-15k on my realm when they usually sell at 4-6k before and even went as low as 2-3k for a time.Speaking of alts, I like playing other classes for a change of pace from my main, and since I already have them leveled they help me expand into different profession markets. It takes too much time to go all in into all the different markets but just playing the game generates resources for the different professions and having a character that can craft something out of them really helps.
Would be awesome to get that Beta key finally. Would like to test the content. Cheers
How often do you participate in the Darkmoon Faire? With me coming back from Cataclysm I wanted to start working on the allied races so I been saving the reputation tokens so when Darkmoon does come I can get more reputation value. I have hoarded a bunch of tokens so when I log on my human mage I can get a bunch of reputation with the mage buff, racial, and Darkmoon Wheee buff.Have you ever used the event to make gold? There was a time when I was really into fishing in the game and I found out you can fish to get a cool water mount. I grinded a lot to get my mount and found out you can sell the daggermaws. I would fish more cause the gold was nice and fishing was just so relaxing that I didn't mind it. What's your favourite Darkmoon Faire game?My favorite game is the one racing game it's just cool blazing through the entire map. I also like the one where you fly through the rings. It's just funny flying and trying to get as many rings as you can before the buff wears off.
I post my auctions every morning before work and again in the evening when I get home. Mostly ore, skins and some pets here and there. I'd love to be able to play more to make more, but work gets in the way, haha.
My most welcome update to the Blizzard store is the Battle.net Balance Gifting. I often run giveaways, and always had to rely on third party websites who charged a lot more than the actual balance. I just love we can purchase it from Blizzard now right away and gift it without the additional fees!
I am really excited for the Blizzard Balance Gifting, that way I can pay my friends to play more with me. lolJust kidding, but most likely will be spending more on getting them nice things. xP
Game Tokens:Max Price would be 100,000 - there's no way I could pay more than that. Honestly I have gold issues as is. I'll probably buy some game tokens to trade for in game gold. I consider myself a gold spender not a gold maker! If I had a mil gold maybe I would buy a game token. Too casual for that.
Regarding the tokens, the article is right and we have seen the trend before: The price will drop whenever a new expansion comes out and then shoot up a couple months later. When BfA come out is the best time to buy tokens with gold.
Thanks for the Darkmoon tips. Somehow I never knew about Sugar-Crusted Fish Feast. Gives me something new to do this time.
Whenever I am really getting down to some serious gold making, I usually deal in herbs, dropped crafting mats, and sometimes ore. I tend to go out and do a lot of mat farming with my professions (spending about a week of my month of game time doing so), in order to try to gather enough gold to pay for another month with in game currency. I tend to post most of my herbs and food related crafting mats first thing Tuesday morning for raid preppers, and I use the WoW Armory app to check my listings once every 2-4 hours. If there are a significant amount of undercutters against my listings, I use the app to cancel them and repost them all quickly. Depending on the market and the time of day, I usually do this about 6 times a day, especially between the hours of 12pm-10pm server time (prime raid times).
>How often do you repost your auctions? I repost them until they sell. I sell rare armor drops (for mogging), and only ones that sell for a certain amount of gold.>How many markets do you feel comfortable in?Just armor and pets. I also buy and resell armor and pets that people undervalue. >What are you going to do next to expand your gold-making?I haven't crafted much for sale, but in BFA I may start exploring crafting and selling.
I didn't know it that there is pets from fishing in Darkmoon lol :) i will definitely go when its open and will catch some pets hehe :) I really like the idea for WoW tokens to be set on regions in EU,cuz i am from Bulgaria and 400k gold is hard to get but real money is even harder.I hope they think of some way to help poor ppl too :|
Definitely prefer getting game time through buying tokens. Bought Overwatch and BFA with tokens too. That said, I'd probably need to reconsider that strategy if they got to, like, 400k. But then I could always just put more effort into making gold.
I definitely diversify, but I think sometimes that I diversify too much. I'm only just building my fortune and tend to sell anything I can.
