I am very curious to know if this buff will apply to Champions of the current Frostwolf Clan rep, or if it will apply to whatever the new Frostwolf Clan rep will be called.

There are six Shamanstones in the zone. Collectively, along with calling in your garrison troops, are the only zone perks you receive in Frostfire Ridge.

Shamanstone: Blessing of the Wolf
The default stone, summons a wolf to aid you. Found in Wor'Gol, the main Frostwolf town.
Shamanstone: Buffeting Galefury
Found at 65, 79 (credit to Neolarva for coords), south of Grom'Gar. Provides a 15% proc rate at granting 100% multistrike chance, hover, and free fall
Shamanstone: Ogrish Fortitude
Found at 43.9, 12.3 (credit to Poggor for coords). 15% chance at granting 15% spell resistance too all.
Shamanstone: Spirit of the Wolf
Another default spell which increases run speed by 30%.
Shamanstone: Touched by Fire
Found at 37,33 (credit to Neolarva for coords), near Primalist Mur'og. 10% chance to deal fire damage to enemies in an area.
Shamanstone: Touched by Ice
Found at 60,14 (credit to Neolarva), just north of Colossal's Fall. 15% chance to freeze enemies in an area.

Once you use a stone, you can go to any stone and swap buffs, however I think you'll find it most convenient to simply swap buffs at the Shamanstone you'll find in your garrison.

If you have the BARN, don't get this blessing.

The wolf will appear every time you attack, and it will kill your beast before it can be trapped. I haven't tried capturing beasts for mounts yet in my stables, but it may be the same deal. This is too bad if you liked having the wolf fight with you. I've had my wolf for the entire time I was leveling, and he does some pretty useful damage. But as soon as I reached level 100 and got the barn... now I have to go get a different blessing. He's killing everything before I can trap it.

If you already have the Blessing of the Wolf, and just got your barn, just go to one of the other Shamanstones and get a different blessing (see the 1st comment above for Shamanstone locations).

It seems to me that one of the more passive abilities (that don't do damage) would be better for anyone trapping animals.

"Touched by Ice": (enemies frozen in place) PASSIVE BUT NOT RECOMMENDED

This may not be a good choice, because you want your target to be able to move to get into the trap—freezing them in place, and then having to wait for them to unfreeze, could get very annoying.

"Ogrish Fortitude": (+15 resistance to all ill effects) PASSIVE BUT NOT RECOMMENDED

This buff won't kill your target. However, people have complained that you will periodically shape shift into an Ogre when in Frostfire, making it impossible to mount—again, this is just annoying.

"Spirit of the Wolf" (run speed increased by 30% out of combat) RECOMMENDED!

This seems to be the most viable option for Barn holders, as it does no damage to our targets, and has no screwy backlash side effects.

The Shamanstone offering this blessing/buff can be found in War'gol at 17.5, 56.6. As you discover each Shamanstone, the one in your Garrison will offer the same blessings.

When you get your Garrison to level 3, you get a Shamanstone inside your garrison. On Horde it's to the left of the door of your main hall, looking at the hall from the outside. Not sure about Alliance, but probably close to the main hall.

Was this one removed the one in the town is the run speed buff not the summon wolf buff. I was told it should be in bladespire citadel but cannot locate it

Here are my Waypoint for the Addon TomTom with the names of the Shamanstones.
I also use the Addon Paste to Paste all Waypoints at once.

Remove all existing Waypoints from TomTom to prevent confusion:

I just faction changed from Horde to Alliance and when I am in Frostfire Ridge I still get this buff.
