Ya, 26,22. I went to 25,22 and their was just water but if you look over to the east a little near the 4 Towers with people in them - their is a small rock - like the screen shot above!

27,23 were the coords while I was standing on top of the rock. I was in search for a natural looking rock but its more of a slab. Take a look at the picture of it close up so that you know what your looking for.

Also, just watch for the stealthy assassins, very annoying.

For everyone who has no idea how funny this really is, this quest is based off of an episode of loony toons. the name of the episode was "Have you ever seen one of these", where everyone thinks this guy`s crazy because he found a dancing frog that only dances when nobody else is arround, he tries to make a big show out of it and he lost everything his job and all his stuff, the murlocks also dance if you go see um where the quest giver is.

This quest is great to do alongside http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10118. The mobs you have to clear to allow the Murlocs to reek havoc are the same ones you need for this quest.

Don't use the murloc cage right after someone else does, at least if you're not grouped with them. The cage disappears from your inventory, but the quest does not complete. I had to abandon the quest and go back to town for another one.

What a terribly cruel world we live in where one can be given a murloc cage literally "filled with baby murlocs" and we are not able to take even just ONE out to have and to hold and cuddle and snuggle until the end of time. *sigh* Oh Blizzard devs, how you taunt me so. :(

Useful thing, I did it and I released right after someone else so it didn't work, but also if you just want to get it and go there is no cast time on releasing the murlocs so you can run up to it click it and run for your life.

An approach from the north is hassle-free, and you can sit on the ridges around 28,21 and pick off the Muckdwellers and Assassins to give yourself a clear path to the slab. You get two for one, as dorkbooties' post says, and you can finish both in about 15 minutes.

the coords are 26,22. Look for a dark gray stone slag, rather than a rock. Once the cage is placed stand back and enjoy the show: tapdancing baby murlocks.

Ok, guys, if you're leveling up a female plate wearing char, please FOR THE LOVE OF GOD keep these boots http://wowhead.com/item=25610.
Do NOT remove/delete/sell it accidentally. Because later when you'll be willing to make this awesome set Revenant Plate you won't be able to get the boots.
These boots are the best looking skinny boots for this set. They can only be obtained through this quest! Otherwise, you'll be stuck with the tanky sucky version from the as am I :(

I did this quest on my level 101 paladin for the boots. At first I was pretty angry because I didn't get an item or anything from the quest. I did, however, get the appearance for the boots. So don't fret, check your appearances.

As a mage you can Spellsteal the fear buff placed on the Daggerfen after you release the murlocs.

You do become feared for 10 sec.

If you use your cage when there's already one placed on the slab (i.e. when another player as just used their cage), you will lose your cage and won't receive credit towards the quest. In that case, you'll need to abandon the quest and retake it from Witch Doctor Tor'gash @ 32.9, 48.90.

Take the Murloc Cage and place it on the flat rock near Daggerfen Village.

Description

This marsh be missin' one thing, mon! There be no murlocs here.

Don't worry, mon, I got a plan to fix the problem. See Gargle 'n' Gurgle over there? I plan to give the gift o' murlocs to the Lost Ones!

Take this cage with you to Daggerfen Village an' release 'em in the northeastern cluster of huts. Now you know I can't be riskin' Gargle 'n' Gurgle with you, but I'll give you a cage full o' colorful young murlocs. Just set it on the flat rock you be findin' up there and open the door!
