The drop rate was low for me. I found one pelt in every 5 or 6 kills, and my first one didn't drop until I killed about 10 Stalkers.

I had a low drop rate from the springpaw but almost a 100% drop from the elder springpaw

in the area of 46, 67. all around are a few about 4 or 5.

The stalkers are just beneath the cliff where you get the quest.

Drop rate is good, I got one from every kill.

go to >>> 41.72 <<< best spot to make this quest, after u kill 1 lynx another one spawns in that area (if u're a hunter its even easy to spot them with track beast). I made this quest in 5 min at those coordinates =)

I had to kill about a dozen springpaws until I got my first pelt to drop. I then got 4 pelts in a row and one every other kill after that. My pelts only dropped from the Elder Springpaws although the quest suggests they will drop from any. My suggestion is to just keep the quest in your log and kill any Springpaws while your traversing to and from other quest locations. If you focus on just killing Springpaws you will get fustrated quickly. I have done this quest with several characters now and the drop rate was terrible everytime.

Go northeast of the quest-giver until you find the springpaws, the drop-rate is OK but not great. It might take a few kills until you get one.

My advice on questing quickly, get this quest and forget you have it, concentrate on all other Eversong Woods' quests and you will end up killing so many lions along the way you will fulfill this quest's requirements.

I can't find any animals in that place to kill :s Does it have to be in Fairbreeze village? Because i walk around and all i can find are a lot of people who gives the quests, and protectors or what ever they are. No animals :/ Only those pets. and everytime i moved out from that area, the arrow on the small map up in the right corner appears and directs me back. How did you guys find yours?

Velan Brightoak at Fairbreeze Village in Eversong Woods wants you to bring him 6 Springpaw Pelts.

Description

The springpaw that inhabit this region are known for their high quality pelts. We've even seen night elf scum travel to these lands just to poach them.

Our skirmishes with the Amani have put a bit of a strain on our supply of gear and our rangers don't have much time to hunt for pelts anymore. If you'd be willing to lend a hand by collecting springpaw pelts, I'd be happy to reward you with a hand-crafted piece of armor. You'll find springpaw stalkers all around the woods north of here.
