"Ah, <name> - thank you for sharing your experience at the Shrine of Dath'Remar. First off, you should be commended for your sense of duty and respect - it will serve you well not only here, but in all of Azeroth as well.

"As for the odd sensation, it is no doubt a contributing part of the taint that has befallen Sunstrider Isle. We shall keep an eye on it; thank you for alerting us to it!"

The Shrine of Dath'Remar is located in the western section of Sunstrider Isle. To get to the shrine, travel directly west from the Blood Elf tower on Sunstrider Isle until you reach a grassy spot in front of a fountain. From there, head northwest up a slight hill. On the shrine is a plaque which you must read in order to complete the quest objective.

coords 30,19. you might wanna fight your way through the tenders. unless you're a rouge. if you're a rouge then just use stealth and avoid them

Roughly, go to the northwestern part of Sunstrider Island until you find a shrine with a plaque on it

It has been acknowledged by Blizzard that the plaque and shrine were supposed to be to Anasterian.

Somebody stuffed up big time.

I can understand a bit of a monument to the elf who led them through the maelstrom over to the land of Lordaeron.

"... noble elf..." hmmm well history is in the hands of the writers I suppose.

But scourge? At that time the scourge and Arthas were a long time into the future.

Description

Day after day I stand here, watching, waiting. I've been accused of dwelling too much on our past, while my eyes look to the horizon. But it is my firm belief that each visitor to this island should honor those who have sacrificed all so that they may continue to do so.

Dath'Remar Sunstrider was our first king. He led us here from Kalimdor through the Maelstrom.

Seek out his shrine to the west and do not return to me until you have read the plaque upon it in his honor.
