Currently bugged on live. The jiro you talk to don't give you their personal quests.

EDIT: Is now fixed on LIVE, they just didn't want us to sneak a daily :/
EDIT2: You can now progress through a few quests to the next bugged quest in the chain: Jiro to Hero :) Make sure to talk to Hanoa fast or it will bug out.
EDIT3:

Fixed an issue where the quests "A Jiro Guide to Not Being Eaten", "Picking Up the Pieces... Literally", and "Gut Check" were not available.
Fixed an issue for the quest "Jiro to Hero" where players could not talk to Hanoa the Exile, and therefore could not start the event.

All fixed!

Attention! Quest "Broken Circle" currently bugged! My Altonian Understanding completed 2 hrs before reset on week 1 going into week 2. Went to do broken circle and pick up quest fine. However none of the 3 Jiro's offer the quests they are suppose to in order to get them to move or leave. So if your an absolute min/maxer like i am hoping to get this done before reset and get that extra daily, your out of luck. Submit them bug reports.

Still bugged for me when I picked up the other quests in the area first (I happened to run in from the back). Dropping those 3 let me talk and pick up the initial quest.

I've only just completed this so I may be jumping the gun..... however what is the point of doing this quest chain. It rewards no rep, no items just a measly amount of gold. It does not seem to lead onto a greater quest chain or rewards you with anything really to help you further in Zereth Mortis or advancing the Cypher. On first glance after its completion it seems to serve or provide absolutely nothing!

Completing this quest line has the Jiro set up shop outside of Exile's Hollow, which opens up the Jiro vendor Olea Manu. Once you finish the quest line, the vendor (and reast of the circle of Jiros) will be at /way 37.16 44.66.

This vendor sells a handful of items:

Improvised Cypher Analysis Tool: Which increases your cypher games by 50%. This is battle.net account bound, cost 150 cyphers, and can be sent to alts.
Recipe: Empty Kettle of Stone Soup: A feast which allows party members to contribute materials to create a +20 main stat food; cost 25 cyphers
Formula: Magically Regulated Automa Core: A crafting reagent that makes your gear have a chance to spawn an unstable Automa Core which detonates after 4 sec; cost 25 cyphers
Brutosaur Soul and Armadillo Soul: Two Night Fae Soulshapes, a brutosaur (1000 cyphers) and an armadillo (500 cyphers)
Pocopoc Traveler: A pocopoc battle pet that you can summon outside of Zereth Mortis, in case you want your BB-8 to follow you around (and kill other pets) after 9.2; cost 500 cyphers
Jiro Circle of Song: A toy that causes Jiro to stand around you and serenade you with their electronic melodies; cost 100 cyphers

As stated by multiple posters, to unlock this quest chain you need the Cypher Console Spell Altonian Understanding.

Directly after picking up Broken Circle, I would highly recommend picking up all three quests (one from each of the Jiro you must convince to leave) before starting any of those quests! If you complete them one at a time, you will end up being incredibly inefficient and having to kill way more devourers than you would otherwise need. So to be most efficient and to save some time and hassle, run through the area and pick up all three quests, and then complete them at the same time.

This was a great little questline, fun to play through, even had one good joke in it that made me smile.

However...(and I hope Blizzard comes to realise this) it's the type of thing that you should only have to complete once on your main and then have an account-wide skip option added. Being forced to do it on a bunch of alts if you want access to the Improvised Cypher Analysis Tool , or whatever, turns it from a fun little piece of content to a tedious waste of time*

And yes; I know the Improvised Cypher Analysis Tool binds to account. My point is that if only your main has access to the vendor it takes ages to buy each alt an item that costs 150 cyphers. It would be far better to just allow the skip, then all your alts can unlock the vendor using the skip and use their own currency to buy the item.

Blizzard has made some improvements in the direction of respecting players' time but they really need to wake up to this sort of thing a little bit more quickly.

*just like forcing us to run Torghast (by linking it to player power through Soul Ash / Legendaries) turned that experience from something that could have been voluntarily played and truly great fun into a tedious grind.

EDITED: to correct mistake in naming of Improvised Cypher Analysis Tool. I read it as 'improved' not 'improvised' :P

Is there another requirement for this quest? I've done it on several toons, but have one that does have Altonian Understanding, but no quest shows up.
