the quest that involves bringing the centurion parts to Mikanikos is still bugged for a lot of people at the time of this writing.

My God, what a mess of a world quest. I can't turn in the Centurion parts, the companions disappear half the time, rending roar lasts surprisingly long and does a great deal of damage (God help you if you get more than one stack) and the stupid blob doesn't recognize my kills half the time if I kill at range. Stupid, stupid, stupid. I'm skipping this one.

For the people having problems with delivering the centurion parts, turning off the war mode did it for me.

I did not find this assault enjoyable at all. Situated in Perdition Hold, it's a far more lengthy and difficult assault compared to the others. Two of the quests were terribly buggy, requiring joining a lfg to even finish on one, and repeatedly engaging with the stitchers until they finally craft a body that counts on the other, and Kevin is entirely too picky of an eater.

Surprise! Lol the Centurion quest was never even offered to me. Good going, Blizzard!

This assault is just one HUGE waste of time with the Kevin picky eater and apparently people not even being able to turn in parts of the Centurion quest. It's as though.... Blizzard just doesn't respect our time at all. Not one bit.

When you're at the part to kill the 3 elites and use the extra ability to spawn npcs that helps you. Wait until the ability is off CD. The previous npcs will just stand there and watch you get pummeled to death on the next elite

Awful questline. Very buggy, had to shard hop in LFG to get the centurion parts returned, Kevin ate what he wanted so it took forever, hard mobs. In the last part the companions didn't help if you were attacked after summoning them for a boss. Just bad.

Draka's Battle Horn shows up on your screen as a clickie when you get close to her @ 31, 59. She is on a round platform by a very large crossbow thing.

I got 3 items in the chest at the end. 50 Soul Cinders, 200 Stygia and 3 Epic Books for the Archivist (100 knowledge each). Considering how bugged and hard this assault is the reward is a joke. Won't be doing that again after I got the Achievement. Even the tooltip for the Achievement part seemed incomplete. Literally said "9.1 Necrolord Assault". What a %^&*show.

Ritualist Vexicon cannot be attacked and therefore the quest is busted. After struggling just to get to this point in this absolutely horrible quest I now can't do the final part of it. I'm literally devastated. And pretty sick and tired of the horrible quest design lately. Hope I can get some answers here.

I needed to pick up a 4th quest from Mikanikos. (I.e. the assault quest was showing 3/4 and no other quest to pick up.) I'm not sure if I just couldn't get it because another quest or mobs put him in combat. But when he's in combat the quest didn't show up for me.

The quest I needed from him is Centurions March. I found him at 37.0, 63.5, and noticed for brief periods of time he would have a quest to give. Ultimately, I killed what he was in combat with, then he gave me the quest.

I can't find Centurions March! in the wowhead search. I needed to pick up 5 anima containers then help a centurion with a fight. When I first found the centurion he was in combat and 5 mobs almost insta-killed me. After that fight, the centurion reset as I killed everything. I clicked the centurion again and he started walking. I killed about 10 mobs with the centurion up and it told me that assisting the centurion was complete. Then I turned in to Mikanikos

If you're stuck on the Necrolord Assault and 'seem' to have completed all the quests:

After completing 1/1 Report to Draka at the gates of Perdition Hold;
Only have 3/4 of Help Maldraxxi forces assault Perdition Hold and are now clueless. NOW GO TO MIKANIKOS (37, 63.4)... he will give you a quest to retrieve 5 Anima containers inside the Hold.
Collect them quick, turn the quest back into Mikanikos, then you need to go back into the Hold to the Battleready Centurion (32.5, 68) and click on him. He will slowly lead you forward and help kill a bunch of NPCs. When finished you NOW HAVE 4/4 of Help Maldraxxi forces assault Perdition Hold.
Now you can go to Draka and use the Battlehorn which should pop up. Sheesh. Continue from there.
Run ahead and Kill Vexicon, Evelana the Dredd, and Ritualist Asmea, shown on map (click on Draka's Battlehorn again for each encounter to summon troops to help)
TA DA! You get War Chest of the Undying Army containing 250 Stygia, 50 Soul Cinders, and a Ripped Cosmology Chart (3), for 300 Cataloged Research, plus low chances for iLvL 200 gear and a mount, etc.
After all that, the Tormentor of Torghast (~ 1200K health) will be up outside; form a custom group as a raid with around 8-10 ppl and down him for more goodies.
Get more coffee or herb or something and finally chill for a bit. This assault sucks.

The last few steps of this assault seems... impossible to do solo? The last mob has 372k hp and I cannot solo it as a mage. Am I missing something?

The Venthyr assault is fairly quick and painless, the Kyrian one isn't too bad, Night Fae is kind of grindy but doable... and then you have this total abomination of an assault. Between the abundance of bugs, densely packed mobs with insane HP that hit like trucks, being continually stuck in combat, time invested to complete, and the absolutely pitiful reward you get at the end for enduring this slog, this assault is simply not worth doing.

Whenever this assault pops, it's a literal ghost town except for when a certain quest is up and people are going for the ring. 10pm on a Saturday night and not a single soul was bothering with this assault. I would love to see the actual participation stats for all the assaults. I can pretty much guarantee Necrolords is at the bottom of the pile.

The quests you have to complete are, in no particular order:

You and What Army
Somebody Feed Kevin
Dead On Their Feet
Pulling His Chain

Don't forget that you won't get the credit for having completed them until you turn them in to their respective quest-givers.

I did this a long time ago and thought it was hard and have not done it again for ages... until now.

Why does this assault have to be so much harder than all the others? It's an absolute joke.

You have to do this in a group, it can't be solod unless you have a much higher ilvl than I have on this 172 Demon Hunter.

Lost count of the number of times I've died and been one-shotted by the non-elite mobs.

Absolutely ridiculous quest, won't be back for a third time.

FOR NECROLORDS trying to head down to the assault:

Go to your sanctum's portal area (big rings of bone). See the spider-person from the House of Eyes? They are near the portal for Zerekriss.

For any portal you have working, waving the mouse cursor over it will show you a tag about where it's going. In the Seat of the Primus (this sanctum) they all say the place and subzone. While the assault is on, Zerekriss says Zerekriss, the Maw and porting to there feels more empty than usual.

Use the globe-stand in front of you when you arrive to go to lower level. Again, the place looks super empty.

There is a flying being near the front exit of the Necropolis. They are Twigin and have a mount marker when you cursor over them.
Mount up and fly down there.
