To complete this quest you need 100x Reservoir Anima.
To get Reservoir Anima you need receive anima items by doing World Quests / Killing Rares / Dungeon / Raids in Shadowlands.
Anima items example: Luminous Sylberry, Darkhaven Soul Lantern, Noble's Draught, Ardendew Pearl.
After receive the Anima Item speak with your Sanctum Reservoir NPC to convert your item in Reservoir Anima.

Does anyone know what the difference between these 4 souls is? Nobody lists what they do or why they are different other than their name...

The different souls have different rewards once empowered with different catalysts, which you'll be able to do after upgrading your conservatory. When first starting out, there won't be a difference between which one you choose.

So the video we have on this page is from beta, where the description was "Deposit Anima in the Sanctum" and is now showing as "#/1000 Collect Anima". Adding Anima with Zayhad isn't contributing to this. Anyone know how to fulfill this?

When I hover over this quest in my Quest Log, it says that it is a Daily, and not a Weekly.

Can anyone confirm that this is indeed a Weekly (otherwise holy crap that's a lot of anima in a day)!

It's worth noting that completing this quest doesn't actually use the 1000 Anima that you need to gather.

Hey guys just so you know each of the souls you choose have a different chance to receive armor and mounts and pets! Be sure to look at each souls list to fill out your collections!

So, from what I have been able to gather, you do NOT want to plant any blue spirits (or any for that matter) until you unlock catalysts (level 2). I planted 2x blue and 1x green spirits and all three times I got the junk white Novice's Satchel (each taking like 3 days to incubate). Upon opening the satchels... 1 gave 6xSoul Dust, 1 gave 3xLost Soul, and the other one was so uneventful I forget what it was (probably 4x Aoni's Belly Button Lint). It wasn't that this took a ridiculous amount of time to acquire items that would take an enchanter or fisherman a couple minutes to get, it was the anticipation of waiting 3 days to get something that you thought might be mildly worthwhile. Similar to Tiller's? I think not. That game element was fun and very rewarding right from the start and only got better. Hopefully, my feelings for this change as it grows but it's going on the back burner for now.

You may want to keep the reward from this quest for planting later on.

The four types of spirit (Dutiful, Martial, Prideful, and Untamed) come in 3 versions - uncommon, rare, and epic (green, blue, purple). They all yield the same rewards when planted in a Wildseed of Regrowth by themselves - a Novice's Satchel which contains some random crafting reagents.

Once you have unlocked more of your garden, you can use an Anima Catalyst Plot to affect the rewards you get at 'harvest'. Possible loot includes cosmetic items, new soulshapes and mounts. (Loot table can be seen here.)

This quest and the weekly "Replenish the reservoir" both have the same requirements -- 1000 anima collected.

MAKE SURE YOU GET THEM BOTH before starting one or the other. It's basically a two-fer.

(Don't be like me and complete one and then get the other quest and have to collect another 1000 anima...)

This quests behavior is different than Replenish the Reservoir. While they both look for 1000 anima (and share it between them) this quest will disappear at weekly reset, while Replenish the Reservoir will last until you finish it.

I have no idea if that's a bug or intended (who can tell in this buggy game anymore). But it is pretty annoying because while you'll eventually finish Replenish the Reservoir you have a timer to finish this quest (which I rarely get).

i think it should be mentioned that this weekly quest is the only source to obtain the specific seed greater prideful spirit, aside from high level missions at the mission table (which takes a long time to level up, and is usually the last thing to upgrade in any covenant sanctum). every other seed type can be obtained from the various maw weekly quests. this is the only one that is not rewarded from any of the maw weekly quests, so i plan on choosing it each time i suppose.

As stated in a previous comment this is by far the easiest way to obtain the "rare" Greater Prideful Spirit.

Description

While we work away here in the Conservatory, we must not forget to support the rest of the covenant. I am needed here, but you can range far, even though your legs are short. Please, help our covenant recover the anima we need. I can then dedicate my time to preparing another spirit for you to restore.
