Fly to Hibernal Hollow. You'll only see a yellow quest ! for this quest when you're in Ardenweald and have this available as an entertainment for the Ember Court.

Run southwest out of Hibernal Hollow to /way 56.32 55.70 and talk to Niya.

Highland Runestags are interactable. They're just up the hill at /way 58 57. Avoid the aggressive Highland Bulls. After you click them, you'll make friends, then mount. A moment later, you can ride them back to Niya. Once you return to Niya, you'll automatically dismount.

Territorial Waders are aggressive and found higher up the waterfall, above where Niya stands, at /way 55 56. Target at a distance and use your net.

This is also where Radiant Groupers appear. You can track them as dots on your minimap. They spawn high up the waterfalls, drop down, then disappear. They're interactable. The easiest way to catch them is with a /tar radiant macro and a keybind for Interact With Target.

(Game Menu > Key Bindings > Targeting. Scroll most of the way down and find Interact With Target.)

Once you have your waders and groupers, go past Niya to the Heron Snack barrel at /way 56.38 55.44 to subdue the waders. Then you can turn in the quest. Don't forget to use the inventory item to add this entertainment to your Ember Court.

This entertainment option is Clean and Safe.

How to do Ember Court: Glimpse of the Wilds:

accept the quest
interact with Highland Runestag and return him 3 times to /way 56,3, 55,6 Niya
use Heron Net to capture 4x Territorial Wader
return Territorial Wader to /way 56,3, 55,4 Heron Snack
collect 8x Radiant Grouper (don't go after them, let them come to you)
return the quest

Catching the groupers is immensely annoying. Here's the secret: follow one until it despawns. Stand next to that area and put your mouse on the despawn point. When one stops there you'll have a moment to click on it before it vanishes. Why chase the groupers when they'll come to you?

This reminds of that quest in Hyjal saving the critters from the fire. Making us click fast moving things with small hitboxes is an instant headache (literally for me).

My way around it is to make a macro

/tar radiant grouper

And then have your interact with target keybind bound to something.

Saves all that annoying clicking.

The groupers can be caught while you are mounted. As such, if you have a water walking mount, I recommend mounting up, making a targeting macro, and running after them spamming the 'Interact' button after targeting it.

Much faster than trying to click such a small target or stand in just the right place to grab them!

Remember Save the Wee Animals from Cataclysm? Yup, me too, probably the only quest I remember. Funny how that works...

Anyway, here are some Radiant Grouper hunting tips:

They do swim in the lakes above Niya and despawn when they reach the next waterfall. Territorial Wader can be collected while hunting for Radiant Grouper.
You can grab them while mounted.
You can grab them while water-walking, i.e. Inflatable Mount Shoes.
They tend to follow a relatively straight trajectory, what works best is to run in the same direction using the keyboard and use the mouse only to grab.

Blizz, have you ever "caught" a fish? No, I didn't think so.

Also, the fish will stop spawning after a while, this makes things last longer than they need to.

On a humorous note, if you're riding the stags into the water and make them swim, hitting the space bar will cause them to flip upside down underwater until you hit land. Completely useless, but still funny to see.

tired of these quests that promote carpal tunnel. These dev's really need to consider their design. my wrist literally hurts after completing this.

Highland Runestags (Deer/Yellow) - Click on them to ride them back to base
Radiant Grouper - Go to top of falls and stand/click where they fall over the edge
Territorial Wader subdued (Cranes/Red) - Damage them a bit then use the quest button/net to collect them

There's a bottleneck at 54,57 where they can only swim through a tiny area; you can stand there and catch them way easier than anywhere else.

Another either badly designed quest or buggy quest or both (you can't even tell anymore). Save getting the birds for after you get the fish. For some stupid reason when you turn the birds in they keep following you around. So try clicking on the fish while you have 4 huge birds standing around you all the time. You end up clicking on the birds half the time, no fun!

Even when I finished this idiotic quest they were still following me around... So yeah, a bug. I had to get on a fp to get rid of them.

Thank you, Everyone, for your comments on this. If I had not read the comments, I think I would have been bald before the quest was over.

I used the /tar Radiant Groupers and the "F" to interact with the fish. When I first got there, I thought we would have to do the normal click-and-hold to get the spin as we do with the Wish Frog.

Thank goodness for the "F." I never knew/understood how this worked, but I think it will make my game life much easier.

The one thing that I did do was move back and forth between the different falls and stand right at the top. If I had stepped backward, I would have fallen. They seemed to keep the herons at bay. I was able to get them fairly quickly once I got there.

Description

It would be wonderful to show Revendreth the wild creatures of Ardenweald! You can get some Radiant Groupers near the waterfalls. They're fast so you have to grab them as they swim by. Here's a net to use to subdue the Territorial Waders. They should follow you once you've caught them. Highland Runestags will let you ride them if you aren't aggressive. Bring a few here to me, please. Watch out for the bulls, they're not at all friendly. We will get others to help too. This sounds like fun.
