The Talking Lake Frog is located in Grizzly Hills at Ashwood Lake. Similar deal to the Argent Crusade quest but don't bother kissing the frogs. /dance and /chicken both seem to work and eventually you'll get a frog to start talking. Incorrect frogs will just sort of wiggle at you.

Regenerative Magma is gathered from Ancient Core Hounds in Molten Core. They seemed to drop 1-3 each for me and it took me until I was closing in on the Sulfuron Harbinger before I gathered my 20.

Inkmaster Glenzu is in the Arboretum in the Jade Forest. He'll want 10 Luminous Pigment which is acquired from milling Shadowland herbs so you'll want to grab that before heading out.

As with all the Ember Court Quests, make sure to use the Contract: Mortal Reminders after turning in the quest.

When talking to Inkmaster Glenzu, make sure you dismount. If you use the dialog option while mounted, it will consume the pigment without giving you the painting.

Edited to add: my painting was not there after relogging, but I returned after the daily reset and he'd completed it.

Inkmaster Glenzu is currently bugged and refuse to paint for me, even if i was dismounted.

Having 10 pigments in my bags wont trigger another action

edit: after waiting 20min i was force Disconnected and when i came back it was there, on his table

For Glenzu, the painting apparently takes a while to appear after you turn in the pigment, and the interactable item is shared with whoever is around, and disappears once someone grabs it.

I suggest submitting a feedback suggestion regarding this portion of the quest.

Not sure if Glenzu has been fixed at all but today I went up, dismounted, gave him the inks and then the painting appeared on his easel straight away. Hope it's as smooth as that for everyone.

This has to be the HARDEST quest to see on a map in the entire game. I didn't find out about this quest until today and I am pretty sure I've had it available for weeks. It completely blends into the Oribos map.

Number of frog interactions will vary. Another comment implies /chicken will also work, so there might be more than these two. You will see people doing /kiss, that's for a Wrath quest.

Ancient Core Hound and Magmadar drop Regenerative Magma.
The Core Hound in Magmadar's room do not.
Magmadar drops around half what you need, Ancient Core Hounds drop 1-2 each.

If you decide to do a full clear while you're in there, Ragnaros can't be killed until you've killed Majordomo Executus and Majordomo cannot be killed until the rest of the bosses have been killed.

Color. It gives us contrast, depth, value, and tone. The simple shift of a hue can move a person to laughter or tears.

I don't know if the image or dialog will vary - my painting was a lotus/lily pad type thing. Inkmaster Glenzu will comment while painting, but you do not need to wait for all the dialog before interacting with the painting to complete the quest.

Inkmaster Glenzu says: What wonderful pigment! I have never seen its like. I must get to work.
Inkmaster Glenzu says: Look at how smoothly it spreads across the surface. Like a leaf on the wind.
Inkmaster Glenzu says: Ohhhh. Such a vivid hue. Do you see, friend?
Inkmaster Glenzu says: Ah, ah, just a touch there. Gently.

Based on comments and complaints, it looks like exchanging the inks for the painting is the part that is most likely to go wrong. Sounds like being mounted can cause problems, as well as multiple players attempting to exchange at the same time.

Return to Oribos for turn-in.

I truly hate quests like this. All the running around...

i don't mind it so much if there's some purpose or tie in to a story, here it just seems created to annoy you.

Regenerative Magma seemed to have received a drop increase recently as well. I was in there for maybe 3-5 minutes at most. Frogs were pretty straight forward to /dance by and make sure to not accidently buy Luminous INK instead of Luminous PIGMENT for the final turn in.

If an emote is going to work on the talking frog it will work first time.

Gave InkMaster Glenzu Luminous Pigment twice, and twice I got jack diddly squat... How much do I need to bribe this honky?

Follow up: put in a ticket after giving Glenzu pigment 4 times over (including relogging, etc)... their response was to try again after weekly reset.

Final Edit: it did work, after glitching the previous week. In order to best avoid a glitch; do not be mounted, and avoid interacting with Glenzu at the same time as another player. The item will appear on the work table before Glenzu is finished his comments.

Frogs have 3 different ids:

172223 is the one you want for this quest (use /dance or one of the other emotes suggested below).

33224 is the one for the Wrath quest (which you must /kiss).

There will only be one of each with the previous ids.

Normal frogs have id 33211.
