How to do It's Raining Sparkles:

speak with Lady Moonberry at /way 68,5, 57,4 to begin the World Quest
use Faerie Bomb to kill 100 mobs around the quest zone and use Regenerate to shield yourself and healing

Fun WQ, like most bombing runs. However, I don't know what it is exactly about this one, but I really feel like it could use some phasing. It just seems like if someone else happens to start it a couple seconds before you, you get a bit starved as they kill everything first. Not the end of the world, but often makes it take almost twice as long as it needs to.

This world quest does not appear to be showing up for all characters as I am unable to see it on my main warrior who I leveled first. My druid alt who leveled through Threads of Fate meanwhile is able to see it.

Was able to complete it just 2 minutes before expiration. And that's with massive Ardenweald lag + other players "stealing" my kills. Now that should reward an achievement! :D

I have never seen nor done this quest until it showed up today, 3/26/2021. Very weird, but a fun, easy quest. Just fly around and bomb npc's, shield/heal yourself with the secondary. Took about 3-5 mins. to do. :)

When you talk to the NPC, you will get a vehicle bar. Button 1 drops Faire Bombs. Button 2 will cast a healing effect on you. It's best to cast the healing at or around 65% health.

While this world quest is active, you will be phased in the area and unable to see the treasure Decayed Husk until it's completed.

This entire area is phased when this WQ is up. The rares Hunter Vivianna and Soultwister Cero will disappear as you get near, all regular mobs disappear and Decayed Husk won't be there. Do the WQ and the area should return to normal phasing.

As of this post: if there are people around you doing this quest - it will still take longer than usual.

If a player is flying ahead of you, drops a missile onto enemies before you do (even if you drop it a split second after they do), they will get the kill credits and the mobs will die/disappear. You will have to loop around again for them to spawn (or just kill the enemies ahead of you while the other player(s) missile is on cooldown, which will net you some kills of your own.

So this is a bit annoying - if its just you this is easy. If there are other players around - its a bit of a hassle.....

Just a warning. Otherwise, simple and relatively fast mission.

So this World Quest bugged the absolute *!@# out on me tonight.

Here's the proof of what's written below!

At first I was irritated because I was stuck in the air, frozen while making "flying" motions (while stationary), unable to move or mount or Hearth... I was starting to think I would have to use the "Character Stuck" tool, when I noticed the "Vehicle Dismount" button. I clicked. Down I went, into the vast sea of enemies. Luckily I'm a mage, so I used Greater Invisibility to drop aggro and mount up.

And then I noticed I still have bright-ass, sparkly, large faerie wings. Specifically, Lady Moonberry's Gift! The buff (or should I say "debuff"? It appeared where my debuffs appear) was there on my character, and I stupidly tried to click it off... and was glad when I couldn't. I couldn't remove the wings! They didn't even have a timer on them!

Of course, I started flying around on Ashes of Al'ar all across the zone -- which looked downright gorgeous with the trailing pink/orange from Ashes of Al'ar intertwined with the bright, sparkly blue from Lady Moonberry's Gift -- and quickly learned I could get in combat and fight and my wings would stay! I was thrilled! I went to kill Oranomonos the Everbranching and to my delight, others could see my beautiful, accidental wings! They even told me that these are actually available as a permanent toy, in the form of Sparkle Wings! I learned immediately after, that I already had the toy; amazingly, Sparkle Wings can drop from the reward you get for finishing a Calling located in Ardenweald, even if you're from another covenant! I looted it on my Necrolord DK. The catch, however, is that you must have a Night Fae character that has achieved Renown 80 before you can use the toy on any of your characters... so I'll be working on my Night Fae DH :)

The other drawback is that the wings granted from Sparkle Wings aren't anywhere close to being as bright and brilliant, or as large, as Lady Moonberry's Gift, which is really quite disheartening. I fervently hope that they tweak the toy to be as bright blue and beautifully brilliant as Lady Moonberry's Gift, as they should be. For now, I'll be hoping this World Quest bugs out again in the future. This was certainly the highlight of my evening. :D

Oh... I forgot to mention that even though I was able to get in combat and keep my wings, I was worried about doing a World Quest in which I would be turned into an Ardenmoth, as I was 90% sure that shapeshifting would actually break the buff and remove it from my character. I didn't do the World Quest to find out, because I was hoping that I could keep the wings forever! Though I was also about 95% sure that they would be removed when I logged out. But I got ahead of myself... for when I simply teleported to Oribos, my mage lost the beautiful, accidental faerie wings that were bequethed to her. I was very sad. They were mine (I don't care if the Lady Moonberry's Gift buff literally said "These are not your wings", they were MINE), and they were taken from me... This is how villains are born, you know.

If you're having trouble with flying alongside other players who are taking all the kills, just exit and jump back in. You'll start from the beginning, but you keep your kills.

Who else is sick of doing this god forsaken quest so often because it phases out Hunter Vivianna and she never drops the cloth mask?

Weird thing I noticed about this quest is that the bombs don't kill anything if you're not in line of sight of them. Like say you throw a bomb at a group of mobs under a bridge, then pass over the bridge before the bomb lands, it won't kill them. Also if you throw a bomb at mobs at the same level as you, then dive down lower.
