The Lure is next to the NPC. It is a 10 minute buff called Gormling Lure Totem. Just get near the Gormdaughters and they will follow you. Take them to the southern circle to corral them.

How to do Trouble at the Gormling Corral:

Take the Modified Gormling Lure to receive the buff Gormling Lure Totem (10 min duration)
With the buff Gormling Lure Totem go near to 5x Gormdaughter (check the debuff Gormlings Lured to know how many Gormdaughter you has)
Deliver the five Gormdaughter to Wrangler

Gormdaughter coordinates:
/way 46,0, 25,1
/way 45,1, 26,1 (inside the cave)
/way 45,7, 25,2
/way 45,0, 24,5
/way 45,2, 22,8

/way 48,0, 24,3 Modified Gormling Lure
/way 47,1, 28,7 Wrangler

An unbelievably bad quest. If you step out too far on one side or the other you lose the lure and all of the gormdaughters you gathered, and you have to go back down and get another lure and start all over. Terrible design and implementation, the kind of thing that should have been weeded out in the beta.

You have to take the Modified Gormling Lure buff which allows you to lure Gormdaughter around you.
Be careful if you step outside of the quest zone you'll lose the lure buff.
Come near 8 Gormdaughter west of the Modified Gormling Lure and deliver them to Wrangler.

I'm amazed noone bothered to mention just incase you go out of bounds by sheer accident and lose your buff, the Modified Gormling Lure can be found at 47.98, 24.33 so you can reclaim it and continue the quest.

This has bugged out for me the past two times now - I have the buff, and see the aura, but the gormlings ignore me from the start.

Hi all

On This WQ You Need to do:

- First pick Up Modified Gormling Lure 48 24 and you will get Gormling Lure Totem for 10 min ( is line blue mist around You
- Then go to 44 24 and find Gormdaughter stand next to them for 1-2 sec and it will follow you. You Need to get 8 of them..
- Bring them to point 47 28.

When You will collect them you can be mounted most of Gormdaughter you can find in caves around.

I spent 10 minutes being frustrated that the Gromling Nibblers weren't following me. Then I read the quest description. Gromling DAUGHTERS. They have the little glowy thing indicating they're the quest item you're looking for. The Nibblers don't (though they do crap out useful dark matter, so there's that).

When I figured that out I picked up a couple of gromlingdaughters and went back to the drop off point. The 10 minute buff expired 1 second before I entered the ring. Another /facepalm. Remember that the buff lasts only 10 minutes. If you know what you're doing, that's plenty. If you're like me you'll want to go back and refresh the lure.

Hopefully I've saved some of you from wasting the time that I did before my /facepalm moment.

If you leave the area or die, you have to reacquire the lure (indicated by the visual appearing again)

In order to have this World Quest appear you have to complete a side quest chain that starts with Trouble in the Banks which you pick up from Lady of the Falls in Glitterfall Basin.

/way #1565 51.0 33.8 Lady of the Falls

There are 7 quests in the chain and it takes about 10 minutes.

You CAN fly back to turn in but it may take awhile for the young ones to return.

1. Pick up the Lure .. a Jar next to the NPC
2. Stay Mounted
3. Ride West to the zone indicated.
4. get the LITTLE DAUGHTER GORMLINGS in the swirling cirle around you, after a second or so they will follow you
5. Ride to the indicated circle to the south , you can pretty much run away from the big gormlings that attack you
6. Once they are in the wranglers circle your count goes up

I just did this on my rogue, I stealthed and just ran around till 8 were following me, took a couple of minutes tops.

This is a pretty bad and frustrating quest. The lure isn't near any quest marker, and once you have it, no area is marked, but if you step outside your map you lose not just anyone you've gathered but also you're lure. BUT the WORST part is, that the turn-in area (like just about every quest in this expac it seems) is a confusing mystery, so good luck finding it. You'll likely lose everything 10x times on the way. You can look up coords, but weird bugs often cause the end turn-in coords to be outside the area of the quest, so you'll just lead your mobs outside the zone, lose them, and have to start all over.

Just FYI, you have to watch the timers on the little grommets you collect. I ran around collecting up all 8 of them but 6 had expired before I made it back to the wrangler. I had much better luck taking a couple back at a time so they didn't time out and disappear on me.

done this many times in the past. Now, clicked on the starter but the gormlings aren't reacting. Cant abandon the quest. I relogged. No luck. Cleared cache. Nada. Cant figure out what the issue is. 3 up to date add ons.
