For the world quest, it is only five however...

Just a note, if you like me skipped the side quests, some of the NPCs you need to assist will have Quest markers on the mini map rather than the yellow circle, so keep this in mind.

Spent about five minutes trying to find the fifth assistance spot only to discover it was also a quest giver.

An important advice for pet-controlling classes (Frost Mages, Warlocks, Hunters, Unholy DKs...): Discard your pet(s)!

The servants will align with your other pets, making it extraordinarily hard to click on them when close to the Aspirants.
If you discard your pet, they will stay next to you.

Hi all

This WQ i split for 2 part:

1. Get all 5 Steward:

- 52 46 with parchments
- 52 45 with food
- 52 46 with a hammer ( near the blacksmith )
- 52 48 with empty tray
- 53 46 with bottles

2. Give to you Steward 5 chores to do, You need to pick correct Steward. when you will come close to place where somthing is to do over Steward you will see Dialogue clouds:

- 52 45 guard - use Steward with a hammer.
- 51 47 Thirsty Aspirant - use Steward with a bottles
- 53 47 Steward Ladder - use Steward with a empty tray
- 53 47 Hungry Aspirant - use Steward with food
- 52 47 Bored Aspirant - use Steward with parchments

Quest is buggy, I did all 5 chores but didn't get credit for one (I think it was the Hungry Aspirant).

So, this can be a little confusing at first. What you need to do:

1. Go around and gather up Stewards that are highlighted. They have visible roles--like carrying water, food, a basket, scrolls, a hammer. Once spoken to, they follow you, and you can gather more than one at once.

2. Go around to NPCs needing help. Stand near them, ask what they need if you need a hint, then talk to the appropriate steward to assign them to help. If you pick the right one (eg. asking the water-bearer to help the thirsty aspirant), they will say "I fix" and go to help; if you pick the wrong one they'll simply tell you they can't help. You'll then need to wait a brief moment before trying with another Steward.

The stewards just run away when you try to approach them to fix a chore...

The quest area is on the platform up high where the flightmaster is, /way 52.54, 46.90

If you're coming from the low ground on the west side, find the teleporter at /way 46.93 48.95.

One of them didn't count towards the /5 chores dones and now I think i'm stuck. I don't have any stewards left...

I posted this as a reply to the original comment that pointed out this bug, but wanted to post here as well in case folks don't read all those replies.

If you do not get credit properly for each chore completed, you may find that there are no more stewards to work with. In that case, I suggest finding a buddy or asking in general chat for a group.

I bugged out at 4/5 completion today and found a friendly monk who invited me as he was starting the quest. My WQ completed as he finished his first chore. Good luck!

You have to look at what the Helpful Steward is carrying.

If you are having trouble interacting with the Stewards because they keep moving. Use the interact button that you can define. You can interact with a NPC via a built in key binding.

How to set up key binding to interact with target:

Open up the Game Menu
Select Key Bindings
Scroll though the list to Interact With Target under the Targeting Functions Heading
Click Not Bound (if that currently the case)
Enter the key you want it bind to (example CTRL-Z)

This is a dumb, but easy, quest. Are the stewards that stupid that they have to have you drag them around and point out jobs that needed to be done? I mean walk around a little and think for yourself. Then the laziness of the aspirants that want a fruit and a drink, they are on many tables on that platform, get up and get it.

It was somewhat noted already.. but some of these stewards were sometimes just a few feet away from those who needed their service/assistance.. and they had no clue.

It is somewhat resembling of real life.. having been in both worker and management roles, I can tell the ones who are followers and others who will be leaders in the future. Some people just always need to be told what to do. It's just how the world spins.

Tricky, when you have all Stewards around, to get the right one into click-reach for the actual job.

I doubt that this is the intended challenge of the quest. So, another half-bugged quest, where the challenge consists in working around the incompetence of these so-called quest designers/developers. It's doable with reasonable time expense, though I feel insulted as a paying customer.

(In case someone doesn't understand: A real quest challenge is different from a challenge that consists in fighting bugs or design flaws. I'm OK with the first one, but not with the latter.)

This quest is a mess. I have “Helpful Steward” following me and there is a “helpful Steward” standing in front of me that I cannot interact with. Have run around Hero’s Rest several times and no-one else shows up. Abandon this and move on.

I dunno, this WQ feels really meta when it comes to Shadowlands (Do X chore, then Y chore, etc....).

This quest is currently bugged for me. It's stuck at 4/5 chores done when I definitely did all 5. First time I've had this problem. I think it's because the Bored Aspirant was behind the flight master on the very edge of the WQ zone and somehow must have registered me as being out of the zone. Since there's no way to reset a WQ, it means missing out on a decent bit of anima for my alt. Kind of a bummer.

They need to replace the team that made up this and other world quest for Shadowlands..this is by far the most annoying one I've ever done in the game.
I've been doing daily and world quest since TBC when it was current content..so that's saying something.

If your steward is too far to 'help' when you reach the task, just left-click on the steward and he'll pop right in reach.

If this would be the only quest in a week and you can earn amazing gear plus tons of gold, maybe then I would attempt to solve it. However, I encountered two connections that tell me "encountered error" and other stewards say goodbye without doing anything and the ones that match, according to the tips here, don't take my offer. For me, this quest is officially bugged.

It is worth noting that if you are tracking the mailbox on the minimap, the envelope icon covers two of the little nodes that indicate spots that need 'help'.

I wandered around for way too long looking for other problems to fix for quest completion.
