accept the quest
wait for Wildseed of Regrowth Incubation (1 Hour)
with Incubation Complete open Wildseed of Regrowth
speak with <Liriana>
open Queen's Conservatory Cache
return the quest

I don't see a timer listed for incubation period, posts here suggest 1 hour and 24 hours. Quest does not give a time frame, tool tip on the Wildseed of Regrowth does not show a timer. If anyone has accurate time for incubation can you please post.

Posting this here for awareness, but DO NOT be in a raid group while looting the Wildseed. As expected, you will not get credit for opening the seed, however you will be unable to progress the quest even after abandoning it. I am currently waiting on a response on my support ticket, so hopefully I'll be able to once again make progress at some point.

Edit 2: Planting and harvesting a standard spirit does count for the quest, so I was able to eventually progress on the questline!

If you have the same issue I had where you can't talk to the spirit, a quick reload worked for me.

Could not talk to the spirit after opening the seed. Reloading the UI did not help.

Logged out and in again, appeared at the mushroom ring. Could again open the seed and now talking to it worked.

Fair warning. Planting ANOTHER wildseed (which I got from the Maw, I think), will reward you the quest-progress of "opening the wildseed" - it does, however, take an hour to actually open it, and be able to speak with the spirit. The spirit does not come out just because you plant another seed. The quest progress is just bugged and takes "planting a seed" twice as quest progression.

Not sure if specific spirits give specific rewards, but for what it's worth, my first spirit was Largena Willbreaker and my rewards were 4 Pallid Bone and 22 Desolate Leather (on a character with Tailoring/Enchanting).

If you DO NOT see the minimap covenant button (where you can find the timer) and you are using ELVUI / TUKUI

Then you have to go to settings > maps > minimap > minimap buttons
Uncheck "hide" for Garrison Report

Also, if you have the minimap button bar from either Project Azilroka or Shadow & Light, you might have to disable that feature. I did.

In case anyone was like me and didn't wait for timer to pop and is lost trying to find a way back for quest:
1.) go to basement in heart of the forest
2.) then go to mushroom ring next to <Conservatory Starry Night>
*(When you get to ring press your special boss icon to transport)

There is a buff on the wildseed that says how long it will take. Based on comments below this is new but first one takes 1 hour.

This was my first time going to the garden. I hope I get desolate leather. It buys Blood of Strength in Revendreth that is on the list of items that Ve'nari wants. You buy it just before you get to the Night Market with one of the vendors at the bend before you get to the black market person. I just did it but I have other things I can do while it is "hatching". I'm hoping to be able to come back in about an hour as noted in previous posts.

I do agree, not a lot of explanation on some of these quests direction. If I wasn't using HandyNotes to go with this I'd be completely lost. Quests don't reset a midnight server time either so I'm definitely got to find other stuff to do. I'll update post in a few hours.

Maybe an update or something changed things on this quest because I had no luck clicking the mini map. It turns out all I had to do was target the Wild Seed of Regrowth and under its icon it shows a buff with the info on how much longer until it is ready.
It reads:
Incubating
A spirit is being reborn,
-- minutes remaining

The lack of consistency in these quests kills me. Without Wowhead, I'd have quit long ago.

This quest, or a few other quests earlier today in this zone have had me using a special action button sometimes, other times right clicking on an item, and other times delving into my bag to use something. All this is nonsense. Pick an interface method and stick to it blizzard.

I couldn't figure out how to get out so after talking to various NPC's I started running around the map.
At 73.7, 48.2 in the Queen's Conservatory there is a big blue swirly circle on the ground.
Stand in the before mentioned swirly circle and an extra button will appear - Same as in the way you got there.
I've added a screen shot if that is more helpful.

If you click on the seed, then find you cannot talk to the ghost as you get closer. Leave the area, come back it will likely be a seed again. Once more click the seed and you should be able to talk to it this time. Oh and I could say that without making a video :)

If you are the sort who prefers not to be distracted with other questlines while awaiting this one, I'd like to mention that the fishing in the Conservatory's pond is good at producing iridescent amberjack fishies.

I started the seed and then forgot about it doing other stuff. Some days later the "Greeting a God" ready for turn-in came up under the quests bar. Have the Night Fae Covenant and the accompanying mushroom travel network. After a bunch of reading and muddling around, went to the lowest level of the Night Fae HQ and found the mushroom circle (another poster in this thread has listed the coordinates). I believe there is a blue circle for other covenants. Upon entering the circle a button showed up on my screen for the mushroom network. It worked; was not sent to the main terminal of that travel network - was taken directly to the Queen's Conservatory. From there was fairly simple to decipher. Sometimes I think that the most appropriate single word to describe this release would be "obfuscate".

In case u would try to be a smartass, and bug it out by swapping covenants... I just tried and u still have to wait an hour. Altho, good news is, the timer goes on while swapped to another covenant, so go ahead and do your thing while waiting for this.

Description

Soon, the moment of the spirit's rebirth will be nigh. A fate all but extinguished by the Maw, rekindled by grove and caretaker. Time will be the spirit's salve. Once enough of it has passed, lay your hands upon the wildseed and awaken them.
