So you are looking for a teapot at the first location indicated by the marker on the map. I tried four times before realizing that I wasn't just trying to get to that first marker for my next instructions.

After clearing all the mobs that have gathered on you and grabbing the teapot (it's a slow grab, so you can't just try to get it while being attacked), then you just head to the new map marker to complete.

Fortunately, you can do this in two parts. Once I finally got the teapot, I missed the party. When I restarted, I only had to get to the party. Teapot portion was already complete.

I got something from both of these comments.

Sleepless' comment told me I just had to get there and then beat up the mobs there.
Sure enough, using just the keys Sipder2 mentions (it's not as though I hadn't seen them - I just hadn't thought to use ONLY them), I got to the teapot.

The first mobs, who chase you - as you begin the quest, will have left and you should only have to deal with the two that are nearest to the teapot.
Drop them and, if you got to that point using only the two movement keys / not stopping, you should have enough time to get to the tea party.
To do so, again, use only the two movement keys and don't stop to fight.

After failing my first attempt (fighting everything) and my second (fighting everything, but one at at time (thought it would be faster)), I read the comments and completed the quest - getting to the teapot and then to the tea party - in the same, third, attempt.

Like most quests in the game, this one is pointlessly obtuse and, frankly, just stupid. If you have lag, the controls are frustrating, the teapot is nearly invisible, and the mobs annoyingly hard to kill. In fact this whole iteration of the game is built on misleading or non-existent hints as to what you are supposed to be doing. It used to be fun to complete simple quests with an occasionally complicated one to challenge. Now the "unclear" quests are up to 90% in landscapes that would challenge a seeing eye dog cross-bred with a greyhound . Oh, and committing suicide by jumping off high ramparts or falling into bottomless pits is about the only enjoyable aspect of the entire game. I want a refund!

Daily Quests THIS BAD ...take the fun out of daily quest...Wow Devs should be beat with these teapots on a daily basis.

I guess Blizz does read the comments when everyone is fuming over a STUPID quest. This week if you fail, it takes you back to where you left off in the process. Made it really confusing as first time I managed to find the teapot but couldn't get back in time. So when I picked q up again I already had the teapot and just had to find my way back. Was getting ready to scream as I ran around looking for the pot again and failing. Was very frustrating but finally realised I already had it. So if you get to the teapot, and managed to pick it up while you are being ganked, you will respawn there when you restart the q if you fail

So you don't have to start completely over.

In addition to the other fine comments, look at ixnorp's Screenshot. I got so engrossed in trying to kill mobs that I literally didn't see the teapot on my first attempt.

Thanks for all the advice below, yes definitely look at the screenshot above, I missed the pot too on the first run; only advice I can add is get to the pot quick, fight as little as possible (you'll likely have to fight when you're trying to pick up the pot), use 'run' as often as possible, get back quick :)

I've given up on this. The attacks do so little damage that I run out of time before I can even kill two mobs.

My pally just hit level 60, had been doing fine so far. I really wanted the belt for her, but this wasn't doable. I tried and tried, others were failing also. Downvote this if you must, but I will not delete it.

Haven't seen this wq for ages - sadly sybille popped up a few days ago on my main and not on the alt that needs this, so i am kinda afraid this is bugged right now . have already done theotar on that char, so these wq have to appear on that char

One thing you may not notice when fighting them is you have to get both of the npc's to face the same way so both of their punches hit the ghouls. Not real easy to do, but possible.

Still they hit ridiculously bad, but at least it's two of them hitting ridiculously bad.

Staying to the right, I ended up on a ridge above the trodden path. Followed this to objective and jumped down at loaction. No mobs. Then followed path to the turn in location. Which is where the mission is picked up. Look for the path going up to the ridge on the the right.

I wanted to get the achievement associated with these WQs, so I did the prerequisite quest-line so they would be available the next time it was up.

The first one I did, Tea Tales: Lost Sybille, completed the whole achievement for me on April 29th '23 - Patch 10.0.7

I don't know if it was a bug, but glad it happened. lol
