So in other words, if it's not a Black Empire assault, you can't do this daily, and that's one more day tacked on to the total it will take to raise your mount. Does that sound about right?

Easiest place to find the void crystals in the Vale is around the bases of the large spiked tentacles.

The best place to do this in Uldum is the Akhenet Fields, in the void cracks.

Is this quest supposed to give reputation for Uldum Accord? Because I get nothing but 23 gold.

Where will this quest eventually end up? It pops up as daily and sometimes as a repeatable. So far you only get 23 Gold. I haven't seen it giving any reputation.

What am I missing here? I did quests until the "Hatching..." bar was full, now I did this quest on several days but nothing more happens. 23 Gold and 40 Silver is the only reward. No rep, no progress on the bar, no mount. Does this even lead to anything?

don't get confused--you pick up the quest in Uldum, but you can get the crystals in Vale, where they're lying around at the base of the big waving tentacles

I'm not sure if all the quests work this way or not in this confusing progression. But if you pick up this quest (in Uldum), then say go and do it in Vale but forget to hand it in you lose the quest the next day. You have to do it all over again...

Really idiotic.

Don't quote me on this, and would love confirmation, but if the Assault is on the Wastewanderer side of Uldum I haven't been able to collect these in Uldum. Meaning you always have to go to the Vale to do this daily.

I was on earlier than usual and decided to quickly do this for the day. Went to get this and there was no quest, went back to check at 10 am pst (pdt?) and it was available. So if for some reason the quest isn't showing check the time in case server hadn't reset for the day.
