To complete this quest you need to collect 25 Glowing Viscera from Etherwyrms.
Etherwyrms are fly all over The Aspirant's Crucible area, some of them are neutral, others are agressive.
Each mob usually drops 2-3 Glowing Viscera so you need to kill at least 10-12 to collect enough.

I present The Aspirant's Crucible part of The Path to Ascension Storyline Quest Chain in Bastion

Quest Name:	Start and description
1. The Aspirant's Crucible	Ride Theonara 48 74.1
2. A Life of Service	Press on The Eternal Flame 57 81.3 then kill 3 waves of mobs. To call new wave use The Eternal Flame.
3. A Forge Gone Cold	Speak to Sika 52.7 82.6
4. The Cycle of Anima: Etherwyrms	Collect 25 Glowing Viscera dropping from Languishing Etherwyrm or Starved Etherwyrm. This quest can be done in same time with The Cycle of Anima: Flower Power and The Cycle of Anima: Drought Conditions.
5. The Cycle of Anima: Flower Power	collect 6 The Cycle of Anima: Flower Power from big flowers from ground.
6. The Cycle of Anima: Drought Conditions	Activate and defend Anima Extractor 55 79.5. after you will kill Ravenous Etherwyrm pick up Condensed Anima Mote is on mid in Anima Extractor.
7. Light the Forge, Forgelite	Just follow NPC but don't forget to pick up Raw Materials and drop in to Basin. Then clean 2 Anima Forge Vent then Tidy up 5 elements inside forge
8. The Work of One's Hands	Speak to Sika next to forge then use 5 raw material then open a vent. Now the hardest think xD you need to keep the heat ( i throw 10 raw materials and when Sika call that is to hot i use only 1 vent then i throw more raw material and that work xD ). At the end you need to help pressing on Armor.
9. The True Crucible Awaits	Speak with Kleia 51.8 81
10. Assessing Your Stamina	You need to Sparring with Aspirant 8 times just speak with them and they will attack you. You can do this quest together with Assessing Your Strength
11. Assessing Your Strength	You need to Defeat the 3 Praetorian Sparring Assistants: Archilon 50.6 81.7, Straticus 50.2 80.6, Epilon 50.4 79.3.
12. Assessing Your Spirit	You will challange Athanos you will lose but that normal xD.
13. The Chamber of First Reflection	Speak with Kleia She is inside chamber 57.2 86.6.
14. The First Cleansing	Pick up 3 item from left chamber ( one of them is to take bathe in pool use extra skill to activate ) then back to Kleia speak with Her and go to right chamber to activate 3 Soul Mirror one by one and every activation you will need to kill mobs. after finish with last mirror move out from chamber to speak with Kleia.
15. The Archon's Answer	Speak with Kalisthene 53.5 87.2
16. All An Aspirant Can Do	Go to Kleia She is behind bridge 48.3 72.9.

After picking up this quest, make sure you head east and grab Suggested Reading as you will be killing the same mobs.

Description

Forge is cold, yes? Need LOTS of anima to light. <Sika references her scroll.> Times before now, anima is everywhere, yes? Now it hides. Small bits, weird places. We know that etherwyrms -- flappy scale-things that are blue -- eat anima. They are not dead, so they are finding anima to eat still, yes? Maybe if we take what they have eaten, we can use it to light the forge. This will probably kill them. Sad, yes. But! We will not take too much. Just a little.
