You can do the profession rare which are high likely up Carnivorous Lasher and Avarius

Alles Rares from the Achievment should count I Thought You Said They'd Be Rare?
Get Addon: HandyNotes - Nazjatar by TomCat's Tours which shows all Rares and possible Drops.

Spent two hours running around like a madman in Nazjatar hoping to find rares. Eventually joined multiple farming groups on LFG with no more luck. I eventually just gave up. "Content".

Edit : 3 minutes and 3 likes already, that doesn't look good for Blizz...

It seems that currently, rares that are part of a world quest do not give credit for this if their world quest is up. Killed two rares so far, both had a world quest up and didn't get credit from either of them for this quest. I had not killed either of the said rares before today.

Hi everyone,
I had trouble running everywhere to find some rares to kill. Finally, I finished this quest with those 3 :

- a big Makura, a lot of elites around so be prepared :) close to /way Nazjatar 65.86, 39.36 (upstairs)
- a little crab close to /way Nazjatar 76.30, 52.18 it was yellow, but it did count for me anyway. I wish you the same.
- a poisonning mob close to /way Nazjatar 70.92, 54.85 . Summons adds, that will poison you too. I did it as tank, I don't know if it will be doable for a dps spec alone.

Good luck guys, I just hope they'll stay for long enough to let you complete this quest !

Think a lot of these Bounty and Requisition quests would be better as weeklies, not dailies. I appreciate trying to give us ways to rep farm (I guess), but the spawn times and distribution for many of these quests, plus lack of tracking, makes finishing them in a day (given players have to do other things in a day as well) a stretch at times.

1. Put this on 'Both' factions sides.
2. Because I saw this quest on my hordie, thru the ID, make this quest live, spent a long time trying to figure why the 'live' page search couldn't find this quest by name, but by manually putting the ID in any other quest's link.
3. Another stupidly long quest in Nazjatar by Blizz. I installed an addon to track possible rare locations, counted 26 in Nazjatar, but 2-3 whole loops around the zone in 2-3 hours I only found 1 rare in a very hard area to reach. Either they die very fast (low HP?), or have very long respawns, plus there must be X up only per day (my bet will be 2-3 up only per day).

As of the 30th of June (2019), this quest awards a grand total of 50 reputation ... do yourself a favor and forget it!

The problem is not all Rares count for the quest, I kill Sandcastle and Toxigore the Alpha but I dont recive credit for that.

Agreed on this being not worth 50 rep. I've spent half the day searching for impossible to find things in this area already, and have 2/3 still. I can either go work on ANYTHING else, like the other giant island with rep to grind and daily quests, or just run around fruitlessly and pray. Seems legit!

Like all previous expansions with gated flying, getting around is super tedious and by the time we CAN fly, no one will care or have anything left to do in game to make flying worth it. I don't mind the gated slowed down access to flying but it would be nice if they released it before the final content area so you had a reason to use it other than farming and alts. It would feel like a really great reward and something to work for that's not so trivial.

1. World quest rare elites who only spawn for the world quest (like Alzana, Arrow of Thunder) do NOT count.
2. Summoned rares DO count:

Avarius, summoned at /way 36.4, 12.2
Carnivorous Lasher, summoned at /way 54.5, 41.8

So do these quests if you happen to have them in your log. If not, you can go sit on the locations for these 2 mobs and wait for someone to spawn it (which should be a little faster than the normal rare spawn timers on high pop realms).

As of 07/02/19, the following fixes (promised 07/01) have been applied:

Here are some other issues we're working on quickly:

1. We’re increasing the health of all of the lowest-health rare spawns in both Nazjatar and Mechagon, to help more players get a chance to hit them before they die. They also scale in health faster as more players tap them. (WarcraftDevs)

2. We’re making "Dangerous Creatures" only require 1 rare, and we’re fixing a bug where some rare spawns didn’t give quest credit. Combined with the above change, it should be a lot easier to complete. (WarcraftDevs)

3. World Quest bosses in Nazjatar will no longer show up with a silver dragon portrait. After this hotfix, is should be easier to tell what’s a boss for a World Quest and what’s a true rare spawn. (WarcraftDevs)

I just kill what I can when I am in the right place at the right time while doing all the other quests. So I get one or two a day and don't try to complete it. The rep is not worth the effort, so I get a bit of rep when I complete it about every second or third day.

Running the zone in search for a rare is definitely not the way to complete this quest. Because it is so hard to find a rare that has not already been slain, it becomes a matter of summoning one instead.

The tide pools in the Azsh'ari Terrace are home to Azsh'ari Invoker. Two groups of three Azsh'ari Invoker spawn and work to summon rare tidelords, Tidelord Aquatus and Tidelord Dispersius. The rare tidelords do not always spawn, however as Unleashed Tidefury are sometimes summoned instead. Even if the rare has already been slain during the quest, credit is still given. (For example, slaying Tidelord Aquatus twice counts as 2/3 rares instead of 1/3 rares.)

Moreover, forming a group to complete this quest through this method allows for a very quick turn-in. I did not time it myself, however the time I spent on this quest (in a group of 4) was far less than a half hour. RNG is dependent on whether the Azsh'ari Invoker summon a rare tidelord or common elite, but it is a much more efficient way to complete this quest.

This is super easy to complete. Do this when the WQ is up and you'll get it.

If you have the green item Chum, then you're already ahead of the game.

Go to the big lake that is below the "Gate of the Queen" on map and then go to the very south end of it, specifically around coords (48.2, 24.2).

You should see some Skittering Eels, kill one to get the Chum if you don't have it.

Now look for the green swirly fishing pools at the south end of the lake, specifically around coords (48.0, 24.2).

Right click the chum to throw it into that pool and it'll turn red and spawn another skittering eel who will drop more Chum.

Keep throwing the chum back into the pool and killing the skittering eels (it will take a little bit) until you spawn Vor'koth.

Kill Vor'koth and turn in the quest! (PS- you'll get some pearls for killing him).

Took me maybe 10mins for this.

What is a Rare? Killed a blue world quest boss (no dragon) and a purple skull one and neither worked.

I just kill AVARIUS cord 37.1, 10.9 is on the top of the map, nier to the gate of the quen.
