Not sure if this is happening for anyone else, but when I click a text for this quest, a window pops up and is immediately closed before I can read it (even with all addons disabled).

When I click on a book or when I talk to the npc, nothing happen but the progression is validated.

Quest might say the turn in is at Utama's Stand but Shandris Feathermoon is at the Elun'alor Temple flight path.

Currently still bugged so that the ghosts say nothing after completing your chat menu dialogue with them before they despawn, and to have the text window where you would read the books just instantly disappear upon clicking before you get the chance to see what it says.

As of 1 minute ago, it is still bugged, neither dialogue nor text from the books is showing up :(

If like me you somehow lost your quest marker on the map, the area you want to be is called the 'Highborne Estates'

It is due east of the 'Kelya's Grave' flight point, and northwest of Zin'Azshari.

Trust your minimap icons for the spirits.

I found a couple within walls that were not visible but were still clickable.

Sad how Blizzard software bugs (or bad storytelling) have ruined another story. On the horde side you find out about a Javelin that can pierce the shield around the Tide Stone. That's what this badly done quest is supposed to do I think. You "magically" find out about it in the quest result.

They are a little sensitive to their condition so DO NOT ask them if they are aware they are dead.. they will attack you and you won't get any credit.

If you're wanting to know what information the spirits gave you, the closest we can get is the information the player receives while doing the equivalent quest on the Horde side. I transcribed the dialogue from the Horde quest, 'Speak with the Dead.'

What do you know of the Tidestone?
"The Tidestone? Truly a potent relic, capable of controlling the seas. It is capable of producing a powerful barrier that only the strongest of our magic can pierce. If you would like to study it, you may appeal to the scholars of Nar'thalas Academy, where it is located."

What is the strongest magic left in Zin'Azshari?
"Our glorious queen is the most powerful sorceress to have ever lived. Why, the Javelins alone could pierce nearly any ward, maybe even one she made. It is a good thing they are in her position then, is it not?"

What do you know of the Javelins?
"Ah yes, they are quite the sight! A gift from our sister city, they possess power worthy to be bestowed to our queen. Nevertheless, she has no need for such paltry items. I believe she has bestowed them upon Lady Silaszi, one of her current favored handmaidens."

Description

This was once a place of great power. The highborne who lived here would host lavish parties, living in splendor. Zin-Azshari was once on the shores of the Well of Eternity and drew powerful mages from all over the empire to study here. I suspect, despite the many years at the bottom of the sea, there are still treasures and powerful artifacts hidden away here. Speak with the spirits that remain and see what you can find. There must be something to help us overcome the Guardian of the Tidestone.
