Here's a two pet carry strategy I came up with. Worked 9/10 so far.

The Team:

Nether Faerie Dragon (2,2,1) (P/P, although any breed should be okay)
Xu-Fu, Cub of Xuen (1,1,1) (P/P)
Carry Pet (Must be able to take about 711 damage)

The Fight:

Edit #1: I would like to thank Wownomo for the suggestion to use Xu-Fu, Cub of Xuen instead of Ghostshell Crab, works way better this way.
Edit #2: Adjusted the strategy to bring the Carry Pet in sooner in the fight.

I used Nether fairie dragon, and emerald protowhelp and carry pet.
carry pet needs at least 500 xp to survive. so go mechanical
When the third pet comes out, bring out the carry pet, attack and switch to emerald protowhelp

Xu-Fu + Nexus Whelping makes this easy.

Moonlight + Spirit Claws overrides the snake's Blind, so use Moonlight as your opening move, and Spirit Claws will drop the snake quickly.

The Nexus Whelping makes quick work of the second pet, and you might not even need a third pet to finish the fight.

Use LF Evolution
Use LF Corrosion
Use LF Absorb
Repeat this chain until LF dies to whichever pet (I never had to use Teroclaw Hatchling)

Use TC Alpha Strike and fill with Nature's Ward as(if) needed

These worked well for me. I had to search for a good comp as I didn't have the others suggested. Hope this one helps.

Got a bogus message that I could not pet battle while I was in combat.
- Mounting up and leaving the area and coming back did not clear it.
- /reload did not clear it.
- Relogging worked.

Well, I got through this on a S/S Imperial Eagle Chick (2/2/2), P/B Nexus Whelpling (1/2/2) and Ikky (2/1/1) pretty cleanly

Open Eagle Chick, Lift Off to dodge the blind, Adrenaline Rush to beat the slow and make up for when you lose your passive, and then Thrash for some good beast damage. Defeated the snake pretty cleanly. Probably work fine using any breed, but S/S is just what I have. I got unlucky and the opponent Headbutt got the stun, so Eagle didn't get to do much against the second pet.

Bring in Nexus Whelpling, Arcane Storm -> Mana Surge (first hit), took down flyer no problem, opponent aquatic came out, Mana Surge fired 2 more times (without Arcane Winds, as opponent changed the weather effect to Rain). For me, Refreshing Arcane Winds was enough damage to finish it, killed the frog with only 30 health left, meaning P/S Nexus whelping wouldn't have survived, P/P may or may not have already killed it by then. Still had a 95%+ Ikky in the back row, however, so not a huge deal.

--End of Fight. Everything else after this are just some thoughts/notes I had about this as I was going.

Sandy Petrel (2/2/2), Sea Gull (2/2/2), Fledgling Kingfisher (2/1/2), Golden Eaglet (2/1/2), Dragonbone Hatchling (2/2/1), Parrot (2/2/1), Blue Mini Jouster (2/2/1), Gold Mini Jouster (2/2/1), Cockatiel (2/2/1), Green Wing Macaw (2/2/1), Senegal (2/2/1), and about a dozen more all have the same move set as a possible configuration of their kit - so if you don't happen to have a rare 25 Imperial Eagle Chick, you probably have something that will work. If you can get P/S on any of these, that'll probably be the best option, S/S is likely redundant.

As far as Nexus Whelpling, the only replacement of which I can think is Stormborne Whelpling. And becuase Ikky didn't do too terribly much, you can likely drop anything in there that will survive long enough to hit the Frog.

All in all, not the cleanest strategy, but it gets me through this world quest pretty reliably, and I figure there's no harm in giving more options on the WoWHead Page

The following spoiler tag contains the rematch code, with fight instructions for this fight. It uses the following pets:

Nether Faerie Dragon, and

Xu Fu Cub of Zuen

The Level Pet must have 711+ hp.

This strategy came from Baanos in this Wowhead thread.

If you don't know how to use the Rematch addon have a look at the Wowhead guide I wrote, which also includes the Rematch code for this and all BGA Pet Battle World quests (so you can import all the teams and fights at once rather than one at a time).

Leveling group for those without fancy Xu-Fu, Cub of Xuen:

Teroclaw Hatchling (1,1,2)
Stormborne Whelpling or Nexus Whelpling(P/S) (1,2,2)
Leveling pet with at least 205 health (307 for Elemental) or any Magic pet. If playing safe then 409 health (613 for Elemental).

1.Dodge
2-3.Ravage
4.Claw
5-6.Ravage, Scales dies.
7.Dodge
8-9.Ravage
10.Claw
---Teroclaw Hatchling should die here and Breaker be <50%health. Unlucky streak of crits or stun may prevent that and you might need to restart.
11.Switch to level pet.
12.Switch to Stormborne Whelpling
13.Arcane Storm (If Breaker have 487 or less health, i.e. can be insta-killed with Mana Surge, proceed to the next step)
14-16.Mana Surge, Breaker dies.

Just did this with an Arctic Hare 121 and Jungle beak 112, stick a high damage dealing dragon in the middle for random crit protection and its all over pretty quick. just make sure you dodge the first attack, borrow for the second and you should be good. I was a bit surprised Junglebeak was faster than Breaker but that was a bonus.

Ikky completely destroys the first two pets, and then Cerulean Moth owns the rest. My team:

Ikky - 1,1,1
Cerulean Moth - 1,1,1

and

Snowfeather Hatchling is along for the ride - 1,1,1

You'll love how quickly this is compared to the Emerald Proto-whelp strategy that I used to use.

For Critters with Huge Teeth:

Darkmoon Rabbit S/S (1,2,1)
Rapana Whelk H/B (1,2,2)
Lovebird Hatchling S/S (1,1,2)

I'm including the breeds because I think the S/S for the rabbit is required, and suspect the S/S for the lovebird is as well. I don't think the whelk breed matters but I wouldn't swear to it.

Darkmoon Rabbit: Dodge on CD > Burrow on CD > Scratch until dead.

Rapana Whelk: Keep Shell Shield up > Headbutt on CD > Ooze Touch until dead.

Lovebird Hatchling: Lovestruck on CD > Predatory Strike on CD > Peck until Stickers is dead.

I've only run this twice but it worked both times, so YMMV.

Was able to solo on the first attempt with emerald proto-whelp. Just keep up presence, heal, at about half, and bite.

For Element of Success, I used Blossoming Ancient (2,2,2).

Start with Photosynthesis, then sunlight, then Ironbark. Renew Photosynthesis with one stack left, and use Sunlight on every cooldown.

I had my Dark Phoenix Hatchling (2,1,1) and Ravenous Prideling (2,1,2) ready to battle the last two pets, but didn't need them.

For this world quest i tried a variety of different teams. what worked best for me was the following:

- Rapana Whelk (Shield, Dive and Absorb)
- Nexus Whelpling (Arcane Storm, mana surge, tail sweep)
- Brilliant Kaliri (never had to use this one)
