This is the introductory quest for the new Pet Battle Dungeon in The Deadmines added in Patch 7.2.5.
To get this quest you need to have unlocked it by completing the Wailing Caverns Pet Battle Dungeon quest Wailing Critters

Once you have accepted the quest go and find Marcus "Bagman" Brown who is outside the Deadmines at 42, 71. He will give you the followup quest The Deadmines Strike Back which is the quest for your first time through the Deadmines pet battle dungeon.
It rewards Ultimate Battle-Training Stone and teaches you Manapoof Link: Westfall. Once you have learned this spell you can speak to Manapoof in Breanni's shop in "new" Dalaran (Legion version) to get a teleport to the Deadmines.
Completing this quest will also open up the weekly challenge Pet Battle Challenge: Deadmines

I have unlocked the quest and can't find Marcus "Bagman" Brown. Do I have to go to Deadmines before I do the Wailing Caverns battles? Does the Wailing Caverns quest need to be active to see him? Thank you for your reply.

I picked this quest up from Breanni, in Dalaran's Magical Menagerie.

I had already unlocked this quest by previously completing the Wailing Caverns pet Battle Dungeon.

You can do this quest on a non level 110 toon, but not the follow up.

5th. "Captain" Klutz (humanoid) solo elite

6th. Klutz's Battle Rat (critter), 2 others: Deadmines Rat (critter), Deadmines Rat (critter)

7th. Klutz's Battle Monkey (beast), 2 others: Ironclad Crab (aquatic), Deadmines Parrot (flying)

8th. Klutz's Battle Bird (flying), 2 others: Ironclad Crab (aquatic), Ironclad Crab (aquatic)

9th. Cookie's Leftovers (magic) solo legendary

Keep in mind this is from my first time through and I don't have the best selection of 25s. This is, by all means, not an optimized list, but it's what I did my first time through.

First up is Foe Reaper 50. He is Mechanical and Solo.
Used Cinder Kitten, Boneshard, and Molten Corgi. Didn't even get to Boneshard.

Stage 2.
You leave the Mechanical Room and start down the cave corridor. Immediately you see:
Unfortunate Defias (Undead). Secondary was Deadmines Parrot and Deadmines Rat. Secondary can vary.
Used Bandicoon, Cinder Kitten, and Brightpaw.

Angry Geode (elemental). Secondary was Deadmines Rat and Deadmines Parrot. Secondary can vary.
Used Swamp Croaker, Brightpaw, and Cinder Kitten.

Stage 3.
You walk up to the next door and find this little guy taking a nap! How rude to wake him up! But at least the Geode losing woke up and not you...

Mining Monkey (Beast). Secondary was two Deadmines Rats.Secondary can vary.
Used Blackfuse Bombling, Cinder Kitten and Brightpaw.

Stage 4.
The monkey is kind enough to open the door for you. He doesn't have ulterior motives... does he?

"Captain" Klutz (Humanoid).
Feel almost guilty letting my pets fight him. He's as big as me!
Used Unborn Val'kyr, Ikky, and Direbeak Hatchling.

Stage 5.
Walk up onto the ship and past all the canons.

Klutz's Battle Rat (Critter). Two Ironclad Crabs.
Used Ash Spiderling, Bandicoon, and Arctic Fox Kit.

Klutz's Battle Monkey (Beast). Ironclad Crab and Deadmines Parrot.
Used Ash Spiderling, Bandicoon, and Arctic Fox kit. (More because I forgot to switch than anything...)

Klutz's Battle Bird (Flying). Deadmines Parrot and Deadmines Rat.
Used Brightpaw, Bandicoon, and Ash Spiderling.

Stage 6.
ANOTHER SHADOWY FIGURE? What is this?

Final Stage.
Cookie's Leftovers (Magical). (Pretty sure the only magical thing is his cookie is edible...) Solo.
Gonna just mention one of his abilities. He has Food Coma, which he will open with, which puts your pet to sleep. So plan appropriately.
I used Cinder Kitten, Ash Spiderling, and Scourged Whelpling.

Once that's over, you can jump down off the boat and run out. It takes you right back to where you were with Bagman. It also unlocks the Challenge for the Deadmines, which awards Bottlecaps!

Just for reference, this is the Broken Isles Dalaran, you can take the portal from Org to Azsuna to get to the right quest giver.

Someone can confirm you need to be level 40+ to do that quest even if you get it very early.... I have a characters level 1-10 with this quest.
My level 37 cannot do it but my level 49 can.

Deadmines, Part Three?

Find Marcus "Bagman" Brown outside the Deadmines in Westfall.

Description

I've heard suspicious rumors of movement in the Deadmines. After everything you pulled off in the Wailing Caverns, you'd be the perfect person to look into this! I have a friend in Westfall. He may not look like much, but he's quick as a whip and may have more information on what is happening in Westfall. We've already dealt with the Van Cleefs... twice. So what could be making that sort of ruckus down there?
