Advise: the withered will attack evry nearby enemy, even if you're not in combat whit them.

But all the enemies have not a lot of health ( usually a bit above 2000k) so is more annnoying than dangerous.

Be carufull with the Arcane Reap:it will one shot all the withered in the area around the mobs that use it.

Here I thought I was one step ahead of the game, killing off the casters around the mana-barrier pylons before reaching the entrance, so I could just enter instantly. But no, apparently, you have to do as the quest tells you or you will be stuck with a closed door and nothing you can do.

~~If this happened to you, just abandon the quest and you'll get teleported straight to Shal'Aran where you can take the quest once again without any problem. :)~~

EDIT: Okay, nevermind. I got teleported to the scenario once again but I started where I left, which means that I'm stuck with this closed barrier. I am not sure what to do at this point.

If you accidentally destroy your orbs just abandon the quest and restart. When you teleport back in you will start where you left off last time.

I had trouble with finding a good place to place the Withered and died. Ressed on the other side of her and had the withered channel from behind the wall safely.

Once you reach the area where the entrance is blocked, you have to kill the mages surrounding three pillars. All three are directly behind you as you face the entrance.
1 - Keep to the center area. The two side paths are patrolled.
2 – Nothing respawns, so you have time to heal between pillars.
3 – For the third one, off to the side, wait until the Pat gets far enough down to avoid aggro, but don’t wait too long. You have to clear that one before it returns.

Once you enter the area, after the door is cleared, it is straight forward. Nothing respawns until you get to next to the last area, and you will have single pats coming from either side at intervals. Stand way back and aggro them away from the point as soon as possible as you want to place your withered right at the point to bring down the final shield. As a Hunter, I had no problem doing this.

The 7th section is easy, until he bubbles at 28%. I couldn’t do any damage until the bubble dropped.
That is the last battle, then you simply follow Khadgar until you get to the bottom of the stairwell where you get your reward and reveal the entrance to the Nighthold

Stage 6: To drain her shield you need to pull the two Duskwatch Spellblades down the hall then throw the Telemancy Orbs where they were standing. Slowly dps the Duskwatchers until her shield is gone. If you don't, the withered will just help you attack and will die.

Speak with Oculeth and pass through the portal next to him. There will scenario start.

Go to 45.9 65.4 spot (you have to make your way through groups of mobs, follow up the stairs).
The gates to the Sanctum of Order are locked, so you have to find a way to make it opened. Go to 47.1 65.7 point, there will start 3rd stage.
Find and shut down three generators.
1. Mana generator 1 - 47.1 65.7
2. Mana generator 2 - 48.1 68.0
3. Mana generator 3 - 49.2 67.6
Get back to the Sanctum of Order entrance and slay Dalion
Get in, you have to make your way through mobs again, proceed until the breach reached (It's a balcony where two stairs down located)
Use Telemancy Orbs to summon few nightborn mobs and defend them while they drain the shield. Resummon if needed.
Follow the stairs down, find and slay Andaris Narassin
Finally, speak with Thalyssra and Khadgar, follow them, isten to a dialogue. You will earn Insurrection and new quest - The Nighthold: Lord of the Shadow Council
Well, thats all with nighborn, may be new quest chain will be added in next patches.

Don't leave the scenario too quickly. The quest is completed inside at Thalyssra and Khadgar but they will first go through some RP.
If you happen to lose track of them, then just walk all the way down as far as you can (behind the summoning stone) and you'll find them waiting there.

Withered? WHAT WITHERED ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? I can't see any withered.

Oh. I'm meant to use the Telemancy Orbs sitting in my bags the whole time to SUMMON the withered. Whoops.

I don't know why they have to make these withered so useless. Would be nice if they actually hit hard.

The one thing useful they do is the withered drains the fel shield around Andaris. While they're doing this a lot of spellblades will attack (never ending and they attack 2 at a time). If you're a clothie like I was best to sit back and let the withered do their job and hope you can summon more before the spellblades kill them.

Once she has her shield down you need to use the withered to take it down again when she brings it back up (when you're fighting her).

Apparently this is the last step of Insurrection , so if you're looking for the last Pillar of Creation you'll need to work through that achievement until the end.

dont exit the main area or it resets, dont be lured by stupid guards that you want to clear

Pro Tip: Although you can mount in the first areas of this scenario you can't fly using a standard mount...however, owners of The Sentinel's Eternal Refuge will notice they can fly just fine after the 5th stack of the buff as of 9/24/17. I assume this is not intended as it trivializes the beginning a bit since you can ignore trash and get to the objectives immediately. I haven't tested any other items that provide flight but they may work as well.

Not letting me post as a reply to other sentinel comment, so posting as a comment:
I just used Sentinel's Eternal Refuge to take out the three shield generators 4/12/2018, so guessing they're content to leave an easy mode in for that part. I did make a point to run tag the locked door before killing all trash on the ground, so I could use it to power my flight up to the generators on stage 3. If you zoom your minimap all the way out, you'll see the three big yellow dots to the northeast a bit. You can wreck the trash around you, fly up until the dots are below you, then go over, drop, wreck trash, and repeat two more times in quick succession. Veng dh, prydaz my other lego

In case this isn't clear (and it wasn't to me.. I'm used to quest items usable during a quest being actually usable from the quest list):

look in your bags for the telemancy orb.
It is a multiple use item.

I polymorphed one of them and then frost novaed the other one back a ways and then dropped the ord right next to the balcony.

There is NO warning that you are leaving the area of the scenario. The game just crashed. I restarted the scenario and had no withered and no orb, which one needs to complete the scenario as I discovered later. If that happens, you have to quit the scenario, and abandon the quest, and start all the way over from the beginning (at least thats how I was able to finally complete this).

At the end of the scenario when I was offered the raid quest to defeat Guldan, most of the screen turned light blue, and I was permanently 'running' but couldn't go anywhere. However the npc's were still there and players as well. One other player was also stuck in a permanently running-nowhere mode like I was. I couldn't logout or quit so had to kill my game. When I restarted, things seem OK. I'll file a bug report.

To drain the shield, throw the orb down the stairs (both sides). Where the Duskwatch Spellblades are coming from.

If you get stuck like me after talking to him.... the portal spawns up, where other portals are located not near him.

Ummm, when I enter the portal I get a "Transfer Aborted: Instance not Found" error after being stuck on a loading screen for several minutes.

Trying to walk or fly to the area manually also does not work as the NPCs load but don't interact.

I’ve got this quest to ‘Ready for turn in’, but who do I turn it in to? I’ve found Khadgar, but he has no ‘?’ above him, nor does he have anything helpful to say. I’ve been back to Shal’aran to speak to Oculeth and anyone else I could find, and to Dalaran for the same reason. Nothing.

What am I supposed to do now?

Description

It is time. Valtrois is ready to destroy the barrier guarding the breach in the Sanctum. I will teleport you to the breach, then it falls on you to secure the area.

Take these telemancy orbs. If you find you need support, use them to summon Withered.

We must strike before the enemy can ready new defenses. Let me know when you are ready and we will begin.
