Khadgar is located above Meredil on the road to Surmar, it can be slightly confusing as his quest marker and nameplate appears to be within the Meredil chamber. Just use the teleport that takes you directly above Meredil and travel south down the road a short ways. Khadgar will obliterate pretty much any mobs encountered, so during the journey with him you may want to go crazy pulling with barrage to get some easy ancient mana.

I accidentally abandoned this quest and when I go to Khadgar he's just sitting there doing nothing, no quest or anything, I tried going to the trueshot lodge and nothing there either. Already opened a ticket

After completing In Defense of Dalaran a quest will show up by your artifact altar to empower your weapon with a 3rd relic. Hope this answers people's questions regarding the hunter's campaign for the 3rd relic.

Missing Mages

Meet Archmage Khadgar in Suramar.

Description

The Archmage has already made his way to Suramar, where the missing mages were last seen.

Baron ran off, too. It seems that hound is eager to work again.

Meet them both near the road that leads into the city. With any luck, Baron will be about to pick up on their magical scent and find the missing mages before it's too late.
