Andur and Rydyr are two Grand Master Pet Tamer located just outside Valdisdall outpost in Stormheim. Ardur's pet is Mini Musken, while Rydyr's pet is Baby Bjorn. Mini Musken and Baby Bjorn are epic quality beasts Pet, with reduced damage to 50% buff.

For this quest you need to defeat both Andurs and Rydyr - two tamers who each have only one pet with them. And who have a really adorable struggle over which pet is the best!

From my point of view, that's an easy question. The Mini Musken is definitely the harder one of the two!

Andurs and Rydyr are Pet Tamers found near Valdisdall in Stormheim. They're only available to fight when their world quest, Beasts of Burden, is available. You fight Andurs and Rydyr separately, meaning you can heal your pets freely between fights. Andurs has Mini Musken and Rydyr has Baby Bjorn. Because they only use one pet each, the experience from two-petting is mediocre but very easy to get. If you aren't trying to level pets, any assortment of Mechanical pets should do the trick.

To two-pet Andurs and Rydyr, I used my Draenei Micro-Defender (Batter/Reflective Shield/Ion Cannon) and a Personal World Destroyer (Metal Fist/Supercharge/Screeching Gears). The Micro-Defender is very good for this because he's the only pet with Ion Cannon that's faster than both the Mini Musken and Baby Bjorn. The Personal World Destroyer can be swapped for almost any Mechanical damage pet - the Iron Starlette in particular is very good with Wind-up and Supercharge.

Leveling Strategy
Vs Andurs: Start with your leveling pet, (level 1 is fine), use any move, and swap to the World Destroyer or generic Mech pet. (Start with the mech if not leveling). Do 800-1000 damage to him using moves of your choice which should trigger Wish. He'll heal up and use Niuzao's Charge which should kill your first pet. After those two moves have finished it's your window- bring out your Draenei Micro-Defender and spam Batter until the enemy falls below 579 health. Once he has 579 or fewer health points remaining, blast him with the Ion Cannon and GG.

VS Rydyr: Start with your leveling pet (it'll take 400ish damage), swap to Draenei Micro Defender. (Start with DMD if not leveling.) Use Reflective Shield, then spam Batter until Baby Bjorn is under 579 HP. Ion Cannon. Win.

To complete local quest Beasts of Burden You need ANY Mechanical pets, because both pets of rivals Baby Bjorn and Mini Musken - are Beasts.

The fight against Rydyr can be used for levelling a pet.

You need a pet slower than 280 and capable of dishing out at least 212 damage in a single turn. I doesn't have to be a single hit, it can also be damage over time or a multiple hits. All that matters is a total damage of at least 212.

For an example I used a level 25 P/B Iron Starlette 1,2,1 and a level 23 H/P Fel Flame with Flame Breath.

Flame Breath tooltip will say
"Deals 224 Dragonkin damage instantly. The enemy continues to
Burn for 56 additional Dragonkin damage per round for 4 rounds."

Due to our opponents damage reduction this will result in (224+4*56)/2 = 224 total damage which is sufficient to win this fight quickly.

This pet battle is repeatable as long as you haven't completed Beasts of Burden.

start with lvl pet swap in bling Extra Plating -> Make it Rain -> Inflation -> Make it Rain and ded :)
works for both, getting unlucky critted could mess it up thou gl!

I used an Iron Starlette (1,2,1), soloed both Andurs and Rydyr. Used same sequence for both: wind-up, supercharge, wind-up. Bjorn took an additonal Toxic Smoke to go down. Guess the RNG liked me tonight!

Beasts of Burden is randomly available in Stormheim (62.11, 52.02) and only visible if you've unlocked World Quests. Rewards will vary.
- Quick note: this is NOT part of Family Familiar.

The quest requires you defeat two tamers who each have one epic beast with passive: Elite.

Andurs has Mini Musken (Trample, Niuzao's Charge, Wish)
Rydyr has Baby Bjorn (Bite, Feed, Rampage)

They can be fought in any order and you have the ability to change or heal your team in between fights, so there are a lot of options here.
vs. Andurs
Team: Call Lightning pet* | Lil' Bling (2,2,1) | Backup Mech (I brought Mechanical Squirrel (1,2,1))
*I used Tranquil Mechanical Yeti to add in Supercharge

Supercharge (if you didn't bring Yeti, use a diff 1-round ability)

vs. Rydyr
I decided to dust off my Pet Bombling (1,2,1) and Personal World Destroyer (1,2,1), with a Mechanical Squirrel (1,2,1) for backup.
HOWEVER, should you possess a Menagerie Custodian (1,1,2), I strongly suggest Mertarus's potential 4-round strat - Shock and Awe, Zap x2, Ion Cannon (link here to upvote OP).

Toxic Smoke - refresh when it's worn off > Screeching Gears on CD > Zap to fill
Bring in Personal World Destroyer
Supercharge on CD > Screeching Gears on CD > Metal Fist to fill

For this, I used the same team and strat I used against Zao (the ox) in the Celestial Pet Tournament against both of these NPCs and it worked like a charm:
Lil' Bad Wolf (P/S)
Skywisp Moth (P/S)
Clockwork Gnome (S/B)

(Not sure how much the breeds matter or even vary, lazy to check, but figured I'd include them. Skywisp Moth is an amazing addition to this fight due to the flying trait + Call Lightning making it fast on the draw so it doesn't end up taking two hits before attacking. Also, all pets were rare of course.)

Start off with Lil' Bad Wolf's Mangle.
Swap to Skywisp Moth and use Call Lightning.
Swap to Clockwork Gnome and use Build Turret.
Swap back to Lil' Bad Wolf and use Howl.
Sit back and enjoy the victory!

This worked perfectly for me on the first try for both trainers. None of my pets died, but I did heal them full between the two fights.

edit: Tried again and my Wolf died to Bjorn near the end, but I finished him off with Clockwork's Metal Fist. This should not happen with Musken, however, who spends several rounds charging up.

I used Gilnean Raven (S/S), Northen Hawk Owl (P/S) and Mechanical Axebeak (H/P) on both of these guys and it is a sure way to defeat them.

Call Darkness/Nocturnal Strike with raven and owl. Deals good dmg and keeps healing low. Use peck to fill in. Haywire on axebeak to finish the fight.

You can fight one of these repeatedly as long as you do not fight the other. Endless exp for your leveller.

Here's how it goes: You talk to the npcs to start the pet battle. Both of them have the chat bubble above their heads and when you defeat one of them, that chat bubble disappears, but you can still fight that one. Rinse and repeat for endless experience for your levelling pet.

If you change your mind and want to fight the other, just log out and when you log back in, both are available again.

A levelling pet having lvl 6 (which barely survives the first hit from Baby Bjorn, Rydyr's pet, unless it crits), gets 1980 exp (with Safari Hat), which brought mine to level 10, so there's quite a lot of pet experience to be had. At level 23, there was 1232 experience granted (also with the Safari Hat).

Bring lots of Battle Pet Bandage and as the pets are quite easy to defeat, you can rotate several pets in before you have to bandage.

i didn't have a lot of the pets people here used at 25, so my team was:

open with: wild golden hatchling -- call lightning

switch to: fel flame (H/S) -- flame breath

switch to: robo-chick (P/S) -- wind-up, wind-up, batter, batter

quad use of wind-up would probably work, too, but i didn't think about it until i was on my second batter. i killed him the round that wish was supposed to go off! i'm also not sure how important the breeds of my particular pets were in this instance, but i've listed them just in case.

Stormwing on Mini Musken with Call Lightning, then hit Flock and finished off with Quills on Andurs.

Rydyr next and did Call Lightning again, Flock, Quills. When Stormwing went down, pulled out my Moth and did 1 Cocoon Strike and finished Baby Bjorn off with Moth Balls.

Stormwing is from So. Many. Pets. and is flying with a very nice mechanical attack against beasts.

Fight Andurs if you want to level pets. His pet almost always casts a no damage buff during the first round, so you can safely use level 1 pets. Finish him off with 1 or 2 of your level 25 pets, relog, rinse, repeat. Level 1-25 in no time flat.

Chrominius isn't a bad alternative if you don't have a high level mechanical pet. Howl + Surge of Power combo takes 2/3rds of their health out, especially useful on the yak to prevent healing.

Iron Starlette (1,1,1) - how to level anything to 25 in only a few fights.
Set up as follows:
Leveling pet, Iron Starlette, whatever

Approach Andurs only (until you are done leveling your pet(s))
Leveling pet (use single round attack only)
Switch out to Iron Starlette (in slot 2)
use Wind up
then Supercharge
use Wind up (you might die here, but will resurrect)
use Wind up
use Wind up
The mini Musken will be dead and your first level with your pet should be substantial.

Heal up and go at it again. (Stock up on bandages!)

Don't forget your Safari hat if you have one.

Doable with both beasts for Snowfeather Team Rumble

My team:

Snowfeather Hatchling (1/1/1)
Zomstrok (1/2/1)
Sen'jin Fetish (1/2/2)

Open with your Hatchling: Squawk and Falcosaur Swarm!
Switch to Zomstrok: Carpnado then keep up Rot and Infected Claw till Zomstok dies.
Switch to Sen'jin Fetish, refresh rot when needed, apply Wild Magic and spam Shadow Slash until Fetish dies.

At this point both beasts should be very low on hp. Finish them with your hatchling.

If the quest Beasts of Burden is available while the Pet Battle Bonus Event is on, you have a great chance to level two pets at the same time really quick only with a couple of fights. But, how? The trick is that you can fight Andurs undefinitely, provided you never defeat Rydyr, and this way you will never complete the quest. Of course, only if you have no problem in using lots of Battle Pet Bandage :)

Remember to also equip your Safari Hat and use both Lesser Pet Treat and Pet Treat to maximize your XP.

All you need is a Iron Starlette with the following abilities: Wind-Up, Toxic Smoke and Explode, and of course, your two leveling pets. They can even be level 1!

Use the abilities in the following order:

Round 1: Toxic Smoke
Round 2: Wind-Up
Round 3: Toxic Smoke
Round 4: Wind-Up
Round 5: Explode

That's it. Your Iron Starlette and the Mini Musken will both die and your levelling pets will receive all the XP. This fight lasts around one minute or less, so, prepare to level lots of pets to level 25. Also remember to check if Revive Battle Pets is still on cooldown, so you can save one Battle Pet Bandage in the process.

I just leveled 10 pets from 1 to 11 in only 10 moves each battle with 100% success rate. I didn't have any pet treats but did have my safari hat on.
Note: This was done during pet bonus week. The strat works just as well anytime, but the xp is about a third less from my experience.

I chose Andurs and his Mini Musken.

I used:
Darkmoon Zeppelin 1.1.2
Iron Starlett. 1.2.2
A level 1 pet of any type

This is a great one to level pets on. Since Andurs' Mini Musken always Charge up on the first round, you can use any level 1 pet to attack it once, then switch it out. I tried the Sunreaver Micro-Sentry + Cogblade Raptor combo, but that one requires some RNG - it really depends on if Batter can hit 3 times before they heal up. This option doesn't rely on RNG at all and worked 100% and takes less time.

Any pets with Curse of Doom and another pet with Black Claw & Flock or Hunting Party will work great.

General idea is to:

Let carry pet hit once - it'll be safe since enemy will not attack on first round.
Switch to pet with Curse of Doom
Apply Curse of Doom
Switch to last pet
Use Black Claw
Use Flock / Hunting Party. This is a 2 round ability that hits 3 times and main thing is to apply the debuff to make them take double damage. Curse of Doom should be hitting on last round of the ability and it'll kill before the enemy has chance to heal up.

Several pets have Curse of Doom, just check the "Used by" tab on the ability. Zandalari Anklerender/Kneebiter are good picks for Black Claw/Hunting Party combo, but you can also use Ikky for Black Claw + Flock

For Direbeak Team Rumble I used the following:

Direbeak Hatchling 1,2,1
Rotten Little Helper 2, 2, 1
Anubisath Idol 2, 2, 1 (didn't have to use this pet)

For Andurs (approximated from memory):
Ironskin -> Falcosaur Swarm! -> Predatory Strike -> Falcosaur Swarm! ->
(Wish heals Mini Musken here) Swarm continues, hatchling dies.
Bring in Rotten Little Helper -> Greench's Gift -> Mini Musken dies.

(Heal and resummon your hatchling!)

For Rydyr I actually wrote down what I was doing so...
Ironskin / Björn casts Feed
Falcosaur Swarm! / Björn casts Rampage
Swarm continues / Rampage continues
Predatory Strike / Rampage continues
Falcosaur Swarm! / Björn casts Bite

at this point the Direbeak had lost enough health to be slower than the bear:

Björn casts Feed and heals / Falcosaur Swarm!
Björn Bites and kills Direbeak / Bring in Rotten Little Helper
Björn casts Rampage / Greench's Gift

I didn't try this more than once, so can't say about rng - unlucky crits might cost you. I didn't have to use Anubisath Idol and it's high-miss-chance Demolish at all.

I managed to complete this WQ to award credit for Sharptalon Team Rumble.

I used Eldritch Manafiend (1, 1, 2) and Abyssius (1, 1, 2) alongside my Sharptalon Hatchling (2, 1, 2).
Fighting Andurs was easy enough, but the real challenge for me was Rydyr. His pet hits like a truck.

The key to defeating Andurs and Rydyr was using abilities like Amplify Magic and Warning Squawk that increase critical strike/damage done, and using abilities that have a chance to stun - like Soulrush - helped me out a lot with defeating the bear too.

if that don't kill his bear Cast, Ion Cannon :)
Now Heal your team and attack Andurs's Bull pet
use the same battle turns as you did on Rydyr's pet:)

If you want to beat this with your Direbeak Hatchling and two humanoid pets, I'd recommend this:
Direbeak Hatchling: use Falcosaur Swarm!
change to:
Rotten Little helper: use Greench's Gift

Should be all that is needed.
Can start off by using Predatory Strike and then use Falcosaur Swarm!

Hi folks,

Here is a levelling startegy that so far hasn't failed me.

This world quest is up for quite a few hours so stock up on Pet treats and pet bandages.

I use 2 Zandalari's ( Anklerender and Kneebiter) Level 25 and all you need is Black claw and hunting party selected

When doing this, choose only 1 (ONE) of the two pet trainers Andurs OR Rydyr and rinse/repeat the following strategy.

Equip Safari hat for 10% xp buff
Feed any pet with pet treat giving 50% buff

1. Start with leveling pet (can be as low as level 1) and use any attack (careful not to use a multi round attack)
2. Swap in first Zandalari and select Black Claw
3. Select hunting party - First Zandi WILL die here
4. Choose second Zandi
Be aware at this point that enemy pet now has both Shattered defenses AND Black Claw on it
5. Select Hunting Party only

BOOM

Heal up and go again.

***DO NOT CHALLENGE THE OTHER TRAINER AT THIS POINT***

If you do the quest will be over. Go back to the same trainer you just defeated and go again.

Rinse/repeat/rinse/repeat

I was leveling pets from 1 to 25 in 5 battles - Enjoy

Very Fast and reliable 2-pet strategy, same team and rotation for both tamers:

Draenei Micro Defender (abilities: Metal Fist---Reflective Shield---Explode)
Crimson Spore (abilities: anything---anything---Explode)
Carry Pet level 1 (it will take zero damage)

For Andurs:

Round 01: Reflective Shield
Round 02: Metal Fist
Round 03: Explode---------Draenei Micro Defender dies, choose Crimson Spore
Round 04: Explode end

For Rydyr:

Round 01: Reflective Shield
Round 02: Metal Fist
Round 03: Explode---------Draenei Micro Defender dies, choose Crimson Spore

To those farming Andurs for pet battle exp, I found you can actually do it slightly faster if you farm Rydyr instead.

This has never failed me on Iron Starlette with H/P breed.

A P/P breed works too, but it will fail every time Baby Bjorn gets a lucky crit.

Turn 2 - Wind-up

Turn 4 - Explode

Both of them give the same amount of exp, but this way, you save a turn from using a 2nd Toxic Smoke when fighting Andurs. It may not seem huge, but considering they don't exactly give big exp compared to usual tamers, you'll be repeating the fight a lot especially when leveling multiple pets.

Honestly, I found that the Bloodgazer Falcosaur can pretty much solo (if not close) both of those tamers easily.

Falcosaur Swarm > (2nd round going) > Predatory Strike > Savage Talon (may die so have a backup pet).

I just soloed both with him (bandaging in between) for the Bloodgazer Team Rumble quest.

This works great! With Andurs for leveling - use a Turkey for your first pet and put Mini Muskan asleep - swap in level one pet and right back out (don't do anything) - swap in the Starlette and follow the above.

Just remember to only battle Andurs (or Ryder)(again and again and again) -

Its Better than Squirt for pet levelling

Just use Iron starlette 1-2-2 finish with explode and your two carry pets get the xp.

I then swap in a spare starlette and keep levelling the same 2 levelling pets

(ive got 3 starletted ready just to spam this battle with Andur, I then heal up or bandage if its on cooldown)

Its a real pity this is only for level 110 up, id love to level alts on this.

So because I didn't see any good Snowfeather Team Rumble guide I figured I'd post my strategy.

Undead Val'kyr 1,1,1

Snowfeather Hatchling 1,1,1

Any undead pet

Start with Val'kyr
1: use Curse of Doom
2: use Haunt
Switch to snowfeather
3: Falcosaur Swarm!
4: continues
5: Predatory Strike

I have tried this a few times and it seems pretty consistent.

If you want to use these guys for leveling pets, then do NOT complete the quest. If you fight only one of the two, you can battle against him multiple times, but if you fight the other one too, you will complete the quest and then you'll be locked out of it on that character.

Nice &*!@ing world quest; killed whatever the other dudes name is, then the other one disappeared and for obvious reasons the garbage ass quest can't be completed.
