Hmmm, I seem to have screwed up. I went exploring instead of asking to be introduced to Prustaga and continuing the quest.

I went offshore swimming and at one point the zone changes, level 100 elites are on th beach and the skies are full of 100 elite dragons... So I went back. Carefully.

But now the tomb is open, no Prustaga, no dwarf quest giver, and no path forward.

I figured I might as well log out - then on logging back in I found myself at my home inn - like I had hearthed.

So I went back to the newly moved dalaran via portal, back to the flight circle, and was able to re-mount the griffon, ~~fly back to stormheim and continue the questline.~~ Nope. After mounting the griffon and getting to the map, I went nowhere. Had to bail out and relogin.

Found myself back at the Griffon again - this time I left the instance group. Still able to mount the griffon, so I think that being in the group already messed something up. This time I made it back to Stormheim/Shield's Rest and was able to continue the questline!

NEED HELP

I was up wayy too late, and I exited right before Turn In "Stolen Thunder"
When I went to re-login it put me in a random spawn, I went back to dalaran, and now I cant get back to where I need to be to turn in that quest. What do I do?

Enter the tomb, kill things, fight your way upwind, kill the wind-producing creatures, and then your 'allies' will help open the tomb of Warlord Volund which you need for the quest.

I chose Marksman for my spec when I originally started Legion. If I do this quest will I be able to change to BM and get the Titanstrike?

1. Stolen Thunder (Scenario)
• Accept the quest, Stolen Thunder, from Grif Wildheart at coords 71.2, 50.2 (Krasus' Landing in Dalaran).
• Click on Huey to get a ride to Shield's Rest, Stormheim.

Stage 1 - Making Introductions
• Speak with Grif Wildheart when you ready to begin the scenario, and accompany him and Prustaga.

Stage 2 - Tomb Raider
• Travel west toward 84.0, 9.5, and defeat the Restless Tombguard mobs.
• Enter the Tomb of the Old Kings.
• Neutralize the Swirling Storms as you enter the tomb, but use caution as they will revive, casting Storm Nova in about 10-15 seconds.
• Continue on to coords 53.1, 52.7.
• Similar to Blade Lord Ta'yak, in the Heart of Fear, dodge the cyclones as you make your way down the corridor.
• Defeat the Spectral Windshaper mobs.

Stage 3 - Volund's Hoard
• While Prustaga dispels the runes guarding the door at 55.0, 42.4, protect her by killing the Restless Tombguard, Disturbed Tracker and Disturbed Worg mobs.

Stage 4 - Every Nook and Cranny
• Enter the chamber at 55, 42.
• After Grif Wildheart activates XR9-47 mechagnome, XR9-47 will restart and call for the Image of Mimiron.
• Defeat Ancient Mechano-Tank and Automated Crusher which spawn.
• After the Image of Mimiron has summoned, it will begin searching Volund's Hoard for the Titanstrike.

Stage 5 - Volund's Last Stand
• After Image of Mimiron locates Titanstrike, Warlord Volund will appear.
• Defeat Warlord Volund.
- - Avoid standing within 5 yards of the NPC/Pet tanking Warlord Volund to avoid Flurry of Steel.
- - Where possible, stand the farthest away from Warlord Volund to avoid taking damage from Furious Charge.
• After defeating Warlord Volund, walk to the upper level at 58.2, 18.4.
• Prustaga will stun you, steal Titanstrike, and flee to The Storm Peaks.

Stage 6 - Answering the Call (Final Stage)
• Click the Teleportation Pad, located at 58.4, 18.1 to teleport to Ulduar.
• Travel north to 44.8, 37.6.
• Turn in the quest to Mimiron.

Got to the item and then the bi*ch steals it. So you have to go Ulduar. However, when I went in it didn't complete I exited the instance via the teleport pad and then hearthed back to Dalaran in Broken Isles it gave me the update. Took the portal to Wyrmrest and then the taxi to Ulduar. Took the teleporter back in and ran back down the hallway. He had the quest completed. WOOT.

Okay, so I had the bug where it wouldn't complete when I teleported to Ulduar like some people have gotten. It wasn't fixing itself when I teleported back to Dalaran, so I was frustrated and opened a ticket.

After I opened it, I went 'hey, guess I'll change out my stable and go knock out a few quests', and as soon as I stepped into Magical Menagerie the quest marked itself as completed.

So in case you get the bug and simply hearthing isn't fixing it, try going in there.

If you are still having issues with the quests not completing when you first arrive in Ulduar, then log off to the character select screen and back in.

If you are having trouble getting across the corridor that has wind in it... the things that keep knocking you back are the little whirlwinds that you see across the corridor. So avoid those. It's possible to run against the current, it just slows you down. (That is: it isn't just the wind in the tunnel itself that keeps blowing you back. It's specifically those little whirlwinds).

No-one has mentioned how to get through the wind part easily, So I will share how I have just achieved this on my level 10 hunter.

As you are a BM hunter, you can literally stand on one end of the windy room, click on a NPC at the other end of the room, and send in your pet to do your dirty work while you stay safe and sound out of the wind... then repeat for the other two NPC. Your pet will get them down fast so this room takes around 1 minute to cross.
The wind disappears when the NPC's do, so then you can casually run down the empty room and onto the next part of the scenario .

Description

Titanstrike is in the tomb of Warlord Volund somewhere on the isle of Shield's Rest. It's a dank, sloppy mess adrift in a sea of gloom.

Sounds lovely, eh?

I've been workin' with a vrykul guide named Prustaga. She'll help us break the wards keepin' the tomb sealed.

I know what you're thinkin'... vrykul are trouble. But she hasn't taken a swing at me just yet.

Huey'll take us down to the shore. Prustaga's probably found the tomb by now!
