This one drove me nuts for a long time, because whenever you get anywhere near the quest area, you're taking damage from the environment. Antivenom doesn't work. Antidisease doesn't work.

I managed to get far enough in to start killing a few things. As you kill things, you get a buff that heals you for a while. So if you're quick, you can dash in and kill things, then dash off and kill something else, and survive.

At the Moment you can use abilities like Divine Shield or Ice Block to clear the damaging debuff while you are in the area. It will only be applied again when you re-enter the area.

But i guess this is a bug and is not intended to work, and is most likely going to be fixed in the future.

I can't believe no comment mentioned Plaguebloom (the mob that you have to kill and get its heart) yet. Since almost everyone's ungeared at this point of the expansion I highly recommend to bring someone else with you, he's a lv 100 elite with 498k HP and vivifying blood aura, which can get to heal him for quite a lot if he isn't DPS'd down ASAP, that mixed with the zone DoT can be very frustrating, be prepared to enter hell with this quest.

I did this as a lvl 100 Boomkin and it was easy as pie.

My item lvl was 607 and since you get that lovely buff of getting 8% of your health back with every successful damaging hit I don't think I ever lost more than a smidgen of life.

All I did was run around the mushroom to kite him and stayed out of the way of his acid stuff he spit.

While you're there you should definitely kill Mr. Pinchy Sr. to get the Empty Crab Trab he drops.

While fighting Plaguebloom, Get rid of your pet and do not eat the mushrooms or it will heal itself.

You don't need to eat the mushrooms while attacking it, your attack will heal you.

Just kite it around the mushroom it is on and avoid his poison and it will be an easy kill.

If you have a pet, place it on passive or dismiss it for this quest.

If your pet attacks, you will not get the healing buff.

Mages can clear the debuff when you enter Cerulean Lagoon by Ice Block. One should care about that debuff, it hits hard and can cause death even before starting the quest.

When accepting this quest, as several have suggested, place your pet (hunters, frost mages, warlocks) on passive or dismiss it.

Ride in to the first of the golden yellow mushrooms and begin collecting them. Put those on a hot key so that you can heal yourself easily because the poisonous environment will kill you quickly. Keep picking these mushrooms and building up a supply to restore your health.

The clackers have a cast whose animation is a green swirl. That cast drains players' health to heal the clackers. It appears that they have to be within melee range to cast this heal. For casters, try to stay at range to avoid the life drain.

I found Everfbloom, the source of the Overgrown Heart quest item, straight ahead atop a mushroom whose cap alone rises above the water. Players should be able to kill the required 8 clackers on the way to Everbloom or on the return.

When fighting Everbloom, stay right on top of him. As others have noted, the vilifying blood he casts will heal you as well as Everbloom. Also staying right under Everbloom keeps you out of his acid breath.

Basically, once you get the hang of it and keep restoring your health the quest is easy.

Already said by Natalak, but this is so important I cannot leave it buried in a reply to a post:

The restorative mushrooms are a TARGETED item. If you have your enemy targeted, you'll heal them when you use the shroom. Un-target, then use it. They make this area such a breeze that I didn't need the vivifying blood buff.

The Azure Water Strider cannot walk on water while on the Cerulean Lagoon.

While this may seem like a bug, remember: "This mount walks on water in non-battleground areas until damage is taken."

So before turning the lash on your Water Strider, be considerate: it's just choking in agony on the lagoon's poisonous mist!

When you complete this quest, Shadow Hunter Mok'e tells you "tanks" and that he won't forget "dis" but he obviously has as I completed this quest some time ago and I haven't heard from him since.

A strange quest... Any other quest in Nagrand does not send you even close to this area, I had to look though all quests to know that I haven't done this one.
