Ok, after initially only finding one guy that spawned, and then not finding any anywhere after searching for a half an hour, I finally found that they only spawned for me along the shorelines right next to the water...... None were found under water, like the quest would like to insinuate. Hope this helps out, and people don't get stuck searching everywhere wasting their time like I did.

Something to note: the Restorative Goldcap used in this quest activates on your target, and it works on anything. This means you can indeed give a rather powerful healing buff to hostile mobs. While humorous to find out at first, it's actually quite annoying to have to deal with.

oddly when I returned to hand the quest in, most of the NPCs had vanished, leaving only the Ragnari Patroller lying on the floor behind. relogging made no difference, but after about ten minutes they were all back

Restorative Goldcap can also be used on yourself. unfortunately only in Cerulean Lagoon.

Use:/run local x=IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(36193)print("You have"..(x and "" or " not").." done An Act of Kindness")to see if you've done this quest. I have not, yet there is no "!" on his head so not sure what I'm missing.

Edit: after a couple of weeks I was given a garrison quest by the dwarf chick inside the second doorway of my garrison hall to help Yrel become an Exarch and now I have this quest done!

Lazy designed quest.

While reviving the fallen rangari i collected about a stack of these mushrooms.

They all vanished when i handed in the quest, having to collect them again for the next part.

For those not being able to pick this quest up: it became available to me when I was on The Trial of Heart (part of "The Exarch's Call" of The Garrison Campaign).

Use Restorative Goldcaps to revive fallen rangari.

Description

I know that you and Vindicator Yrel are here on important matters, but I must ask you a favor.

A squad of rangari left on patrol just before the poisonous mist set in.

If they were caught out in the swamp, they are surely in trouble.

Harvest the Restorative Goldcaps growing among the reeds, and use them to restore any fallen rangari that you find.

If you find yourself in trouble, eat one to combat the poison.
