The obvious: Ignore the little guys guarding the eggs and take out the Fear-Shapers first. Try to pick areas a little isolated from other groups so that when you're feared you don't pick up more attention.

In general, this area is like a lot of the rest of WoW: Come back when there are more people to help clear the area. The eggs respawn pretty quickly.

(Everybody else is dying a lot too. It's not just you. ^^)

When you look at a map of the Townlong Steppes (say if you're actually there), and you have quest objectives shown, this quest appears to take place in Kun-Lai Summit. No, as you'd expect it takes place in the Dread Wastes. The game seems to know that it happens in the northern part of the zone, but since the actual location is right on the bottom edge of the map it shows it in the northern part of the wrong zone.

Gather 10 Vor'thik Eggs from Kypari Vor.

Description

At Shek'zeer's command, the great kypari tree of Kypari Vor was twisted into a totem of horror.

Like those outside of the palace, the clutch nearby is now used to corrupt our swarmborn.

Recover the eggs of the Vor'thik before they are tainted. We shall raise them here. They will be the citizens of a new empire, free from the sha.
