The Amber Hibernal is located among the rocks on the west side of the Heart of Fear. Indicated by large blue rocks you have to click to enter. If you are not level 90 yet and fall down to where the scorpions are you will have to find a way back up.

To get this part of the questline to show up, you need to do the quests at The Sunset Brewgarden, north of Kor'vess, which include: the rest of Lya of Ten Songs's quests, the "Brew" themed quests of the NPCs around her, and Chen Stormstout's family quests.

This sounds ridiculous.. but it happened.. I lost my quest item, and now cannot get it back. I went back to Lya and completed every quest with her up untill the very last one, and I can still not get the item back.. can anyone through some light on this?

@xmanii, thanks for mentioning the platform, it made it easier to identify a 'landmark' to look for rather than just terrain.

The voice acting on this NPC while you kill her 3 jailors is the worst I've heard in this game yet. It's dreadful!

You will find Mama Stormstout being possessed by Iyyokuk encased in amber in The Amber Hibernal. You will need to use the Ruining Fork on Iyyokuk.

Once you have done so, 3 Adjuncts will appear: Okzyk, G'kkal and Pivvika. Once you start fighting each one of them, Iyyokuk will say something through Mama Stormstout.

After starting the fight against the first Adjunct:

Mama Stormstout says: NO... YOU WILL NOT KEEP ME INSIDE THIS ABHORRENT PRISON...

After starting the fight against the second Adjunct:

Mama Stormstout says: SET ME FREE... THE KLAXXI CALL...

After starting the fight against the third and final Adjunct:

Mama Stormstout says: THE HATCHING HOUR IS NIGH... I MUST ANSWER TO THE SWARM...

Once you have defeated the final Adjunct, Iyyokuk will break free of the prison and release Mama Stormstout from his control, and a brief scene will occur.

Iyyokuk the Lucid says: Freedom...
Iyyokuk the Lucid says: For eight hundred and seventy-seven years, I waited in that crystal... watching shadows pass through the cracks, counting decades.
Iyyokuk the Lucid says: Now, I am needed elsewhere.

Iyyokuk dpearts. Chen Stormstout runs in.

Mama Stormstout says: I... wah... where? What is going on?
Chen Stormstout says: You were being mind-controlled by some sort of malevolent ancient insect creature.
Mama Stormstout says: Oh, that. Bah, I've been through worse. And who exactly are you?
Chen Stormstout says: I am Chen Stormstout. From the Wandering Isle.

Chen Stormstout bows to Mama Stormstout. Mama Stormstout cheers.

Mama Stormstout says: STORMSTOUT? No. You're foolin'. Really? A Wandering Isle Stormstout, here, on Pandaria! Where's the rest of the family?
Chen Stormstout says: I'll explain on the way back to the Sapmasters.

Chen and Mama Stormstout departs.

If you go back to where Evie Stormstout is, you will find Chen Stormstout, Mama Stormstout, Big Dan Stormstout and Li Li, the last of the Stormstout family that is still alive.

Han Stormstout is still encased in amber next to the flight trainer at the Sunset Brewgarden, so it is possible that he is still "alive" as well - but as of right how he is just in stasis.

The cave is directly in front of a trampoline-like thing on the cliff face in the Amber Hibernal. You have to get into position to find the gear-like icon to move the rocks in front of the cave. The rest is cake.

The cave entrance is covered by rocks. Right click on the rocks and they will disappear, allowing you to go into the cave. Coordinates are 29.69, 31.21.

Description

We've found the blades, bound them together with wood and shade, and blessed them with an ancient incantation. If I'm not mistaken, it's time to use this thing.

The sprites spoke of an ancient piece of sap within the Amber Hibernal, a mantid cave near their empress' palace. That must be the "Blood of Ancients" that the prophecy spoke of.

Whatever's inside that sap must be important. Good luck, <name>.
