This is not a 100% drop - it will seem as if the quest is bugged with nothing to loot, but kill a couple more and a tooth will drop.

There's something about killing these Frightened Mushans that makes me feel like an evil bastard. They're just frightened animals! Then again it's for brewing beer, so I might just accept it.

Apparently you have to kill the frightened mushans, and not the greatback mushans...even though they both have teeth

I don't know if it's the fact that I've already finished Loremaster or the fact that I have something else in my quest log making things wonky, but the Frightened Mushan in the area the quest indicated kept phasing out of existence for me. I had to kill the ones outside the area indicated.
