Just for the sake of specificity, the harpies can be found in the Ruins of Ravenwind - coordinates will vary depending on where you come in from, but I started around 41, 11. Just continue to follow the road is if you were heading to Desolace, as SirFracas said above, and head off the road to the left around 46, 12.

Try not to die while you're doing this one... the nearest GY is at Feathermoon Stronghold, and combined with the maze of cliffs and trees that is Feralas, it will take you like four years to run back.

Honestly, as a 47 Holy Priest this quest wasn't *horrible* but it was somewhat of a pain if you got bad pulls...the walk is a pain. I did get all of my harpies fairly easily, though the Windcallers seem to have a large concentration in a small area where they're in a bowl-type place. That is a *very* good place to stay away from unless you can kite them up over the ridge. (which is very unlikely with the sheer number in there.).

I did have a problem finding the roguefeathers, but I found that it was *much* easier to come up from the south, around 40,14 and kite them back one at a time over the hill there. There were two Harpies patrolling the area, but I had no problem kiting at least two roguefeathers back, then waited for a respawn.

EDIT: January 6, 2008.

While running around in Feralas with a friend earlier today, I discovered a nice shortcut back to your body if you die on this quest! The entrance to the path is around 46, 37 on the coast. It's marked by a torch and leads up to the road: *QUITE* convenient and makes the run back so much faster :) For those that don't have Co-ords, I'll put up a screenie of the path entrance.

Well I found this incredibly easy, I killed about three of the harpies back to back and easily killed Edana. Super easy and I'm just a 45 hunter

Completed as Lvl 51 Prot Paladin. Not a hard quest. I only had difficulty with three things. First, the ruins you have to go into can be confusing and there are alot of obstacles in your way (large blocks of stone, columns, etc) which makes getting from one point to another a bit of a pain. Second, with the colums and other obstacles around it can be hard to see what's up ahead of you and it's easy to get jumped by a mob as you run past or you can aggro one and then get a second mob on you because it was behind a column and you didn't see it before you attacked the first one. And third, watch out for the (Windcallers?), the blue ones, they cast a lighting bolt and it hits hard. I have a ton of HP and armor but after one fight with one of them she had my Health down to 50%.

Also, all of these mobs are runners when they get low on health so be sure to use any ability you have to keep them from fleeing and bringing a friend back with them.
