Note to SPRiests and Locks:
Keep the Cursed Eye of Paleth if you cannot find a decent +Shadow Dmg Off-Hand.
Once you hand in the quest it becomes +Healing.

Ok dont ask me why but DONT turn this quest in if you like the item the reward is a lesser version of the quest item if you like it use it till you find an upgrade then pick the quest up and turn it in or destroy it lol

does it seem wierd to anyone else. that the orb has better stat. "3spirt 8spell power" ? then the quest reward after you turn in the orb in stormwind?
seems funny to me.

This quest will change a little bit in CTM, u will see that the sailors actually never run away from this curse.

If you wish to cleanse the Eye of Paleth, do so now, before Cataclysm. This quest will be changed and made into something pretty... Spooky.

Bring Archbishop Benedictus the Cursed Eye of Paleth. Benedictus is in the Cathedral of Light, in the city of Stormwind.

Description

I can't lift the curse from the Eye of Paleth. The Eyes were crafted by Human Priests, so you'll have to go to Stormwind to find someone who can help you. Speak with Archbishop Benedictus. He is head of the Cathedral of Light in Stormwind. He can help.
