I have completed Additional Armaments, but Ricket does not give me this quest when I do the Shadow Wardens' dailies. All he gives me is A Bitter Pill.

I can Only seem to get A Bitter Pill But not Bye Bye Burdy. I Completed Into the Fire , and Not The Forlorn Spire when I unlocked Ricket.

Doing this quest reminded me of Ayanami salying Arael In Evangelion. The throw animation and target are both perfect.

Quest is given at the Forlorn Spire and turned in at Malfurion's Breach.

I got this quest yesterday for the first time. And I was wondering what to do. In the end I've read that quest again and after few tries to use the spire on Druid of the Flame, I figured out that it IS Druid of the Flame but those flying ones in bird form.

So simply target one of those flying druids in bird form and use the spire from bag. Repeat three times and that's it. One shoot will kill them.

Rickets is in the Forlorn Spire zone at quest givers spot. There's a patch of rock pillars at 71.85 50.68, if you don't have map coordinates it's the rock pillars farthest to the right on the map, either aggro a spider to get pulled up or stay on the ground, target a flying fire bird (Druid of the Flame in flight form) and kill 3 of them.

As the provided screencap hints at, you can complete the objective of this quest (throwing the burd sticker lances) while mounted. It adds an extra little bit of awesome to it.

Tip for rogues: The Burd Sticker does not break stealth when used.

I'm also unable to access this quest. I've unlocked the armorer and I can access Ricket's other quest, but not this one.

I spoke to a GM about it, and he said that it might be a bug requiring you to have all Molten Front dailies unlocked before this becomes available (meaning that you may need to unlock Strike At The Heart first, from the Ancients).

If her quest of the day is Bye Bye Burdy, Ricket at Malfurion's Breach has nothing for you. After you complete The Forlorn Spire, this Ricket is accessible. After you turn it in, this quest is available and the original Ricket disappears.

Found it a bit easier to do following Solar Core Destruction once you are blown to the top of the tower as it's easier to see and hit the birds from there.

I'm hoping that someone can answer this question because WoW hasn't been able to yet. Does the quest giver for bye bye burdy exist? i have done all that wow told me to do to "fix" the problem however i still can't see the quest giver ricket. on the mini map the blue ! is there but he is not. i have deleted the cache, interface and WTF files as WOW suggested and still no ricket. if someone has any helpful advise i would appreciate it.

It isn't the male or female humanoids -- it's the beasts flying above your head. Target them and use the Burd Sticker in your inventory. Here's a screenshot so it's absolutely clear.

After the recent update that made it so you can click directly onto the mob/target to use a quest item the spear from this quest for some reason lands on the ground and is absolutely massive. I've submitted an image of it.

The target are the small BIRDS flying near the druid circle (70.7, Target a bird, click the quest item (Burd Sticker) and WAIT a few seconds for the animation where you throw the spear. I was clicking on the item expecting it to throw the spear right away but it has a few seconds before its actually thrown. So, stand still until the bird is hit.

Description

Staghelm's druids are putting up a fierce fight at Wildflame Point to the northeast.

The druids fly above us in fire crow form, then strike when we least expect it. Worst part is, they know exactly how to stay out of our reach!

We would be totally helpless, except Damek lent me his trusty harpoon. He says these weapons will fly straight and true even in this super dense air.

Take the dwarf's weapon and shoot some birds out of the sky!
