If you can't find 5 earthen ring in your faction's section, go to the opposing faction's section. There will be more rallyable earthen ring.

These are shamans located in the rooms north-west and north-east of the centre room

Note that unlike most other quests of this nature, you are not looking for random unnamed mobs. You are rallying specific NPCs, although thankfully there is well over 5 that you can rally.

I wasted about 5 minutes looking for a mob labeled "Earthen Ring Shaman", or something similar.

Ok... after taking forever to freaking figure this out... you just go up to the npcs in your area (or the others) ya, the guys to the sides... not the explored folks... and talk to them. if you cant talk to em, someone else grabbed them. jerks. UGH!

A disturbing lack of horde race shamans representing in this quest. There are two drawfs and about five drenaie, while I've only ever seen two tuaren. Considering the Earthern Ring started out as a faction within the horde something seems a little off.

Just go to the middle of the map ( Temple of earth ) and in the north rooms there are npc , that you can speak with them .. just click on them

I'm with the Horde and found 4 rally-able npc's in the NE room that is green-isch on the map.

Co-ords in the green-isch room:

/way 50.04 50.07 a pair that is laying on their backs;
/way 51.62 51.15 this one stands up;
/way 51.34 52.26 also standing.

By the time I had spoken with the last, I could speak again to the first one.

Description

We must be rallyin' da Earthen Ring for dis fight. What we be lackin' in numbers, we make up for in strength.

Go to tha temple and gather da restin' shaman from tha rear rooms. Norsala, Lorvarius, and I will be meetin' them at Lorthuna's Gate.
