Very strait forward quest. As mentioned here http://www.wowhead.com/?item=48679#comments, the item that begins this quest can drop from the reward for any of the 5 daily fishing quests offered by Marcia Chase(http://www.wowhead.com/?search=marcia+chase).

The item that begins the quest can also be traded with other players and put up for auction. On my server they were going for 220 gold buyout.

Anyone know if this is repeatable? I've gotten this quest one time so far and I'm curious if I have any chances of getting it again.
EDIT: Nevermind. The day after I asked this, I got the quest again. So you CAN get this more than once. Happy fishing! :)

On my server I hollered in trade chat and sold for 200G within 30 seconds of my tell. Easy money if you are an 80.

Unlike most repeatable quests, turning this in will give XP each time. My 74 Mage received 26,460XP along with the Tokens and 7g40s for 5 consecutive turn ins. Depending on your local AH prices, this could easily meen free xp (once you convert the tokens to Northern Spices).

It's worth mentioning that this item is not BoP. If you don't have a use for it auction it and if your looking forward to getting the Chef's Hat you might want check the auction house every now and then

funny i did this quest twice now and still showing as incomplete on my wowhead list and i did the poison one from the daily and the wowhead profile client tracked it as complete and that ones repeatable as well. how come this one didnt show as complete

should we be stockpiling these for cataclysm for easy leveling?

I'm sure someone smarter than me has a macro that will accept the quest and turn it in with just one button.

Same for sealed vials of poison right?

Btw this only gives the cooking awards in the beta atm.. not giving xp anymore no idea about rep.
So whoever collected these to level 80-82 tough luck :p

This quest doesn`t counts as a quest,not as daily & neither as a normal quest for achievements...

As of 4.3 the item's tool top reads "Bind on Pickup." I do not believe they are tradeable, mailable, or AHable anymore.

I have not received one from the daily to see for myself; however, the BoP Tool tip should say enough for itself...

Such a shame, but leave it to bliz to make bad changes
