All you have to do is talk to Karen No on the other side the pillar next to the Alliance flag. She will put you on an airplane. It has 3 modes : Anti-air craft, bomber, and engineer. The gargoyles have to be shot done in AA mode. They will set the plane on fire, so once you get the emote, " Your plane has caught fire", switch to engineering to put it out. To kill the other 2 mob types, just switch to bomber and spam drop bomb.

If you fail you get "Flight Orders" debuff, preventing you to take another flight for an hour.

Appears to be unlock two daily quests, Static Shock Troops: The Bombardment and Putting the Hertz: The Valley of Lost Hope. The first is a shorter flight and the second takes you out further to also kill Frostbrood Sentries and Scourge War Machines.

Like all other quests that requires a vehicle for me, this quest is glitched.

This may be obvious now but just in case DO NOT land on the other tower for a rest or any other reason, I did and 2 seconds later a whole bunch of PVP NCP's phased in and I got well and truly owned in a few seconds. Indeed horde have this quest on the other tower platform

With both this initial quest and the two "bombing" dailies that popup after completion, it is possible to use the air-to-air rockets to shoot down the opposing factions' planes. (As you take off and return just east of the Aldur'thar wall are the best times, as both airports are located there so all bombing runs cross through this airspace.)

If you shoot down an opposing faction plane, you get a buff called "Confirmed Kill" - has anyone found this to be useful apart from being an ego-stoker?

Once again it took me awhile to realize that you must press both mouse buttons to aim the gun turret. My first two attempts I just shot, thinking that I was supposed to shoot straight ahead and hope I killed something. When I realized what to do, I ended up facing backward and got all my kills for the gargoyle ambushers right away. They chase you in a big group eventually so it is easy to take them all out.

Kinda sucked for me as when I pressed the 'Anti Air' button nothing happend. After some spamming and after going berserk on the keyboard I managed to shift to bomb and then anti air but then it was to late as I catched fire.. Kinda annoying when you get that 'Flight Orders' debuff also >_> but well what to expect from the most lazy company in the world.. sigh

anyone else have the bomber not do what you tell it to? i was pressing that damn anti air button for 3 runs and nuthing happened. any ideas on what i did wrong or am i missing something thats painfully obvious?

The captains you want to kill are the "Stiched Brute" abombinations on the ground. They can take more than one bomb sometimes so try to lob at least two their way to be sure.

I rock and roll through the quest, which is a great quest, but cannot leave vehicle despite having a leave vehicle ability. It's relatively annoying to either wait until shot down or wait until the end of the pathing to be able to finish the quest.

You gave us a leave vehicle option, so give us a parachute or have your backup plane swing by and catch us on demand.

Seems around halfway through the bombing run, you get phased out for some reason. Until then, it works fine. After the dephasing, though, you're stuck in whatever mode you were in last and gargoyles in the proper phase that you cannot see will destroy you pretty quickly.

The mobs you have to bomb aren't phased, so the first run just stay in bomb mode and spam bombs all over the place. Then you'll just need gargoyles on the second.

Very bugged quest. For me the vehicle UI stops responding often meaning the quests has to be uncompleted.

Bugged for me as well, took off and managed to get into bombing mode killed a few things then switched to Air mode killed a few gargoyles then promptly got stuck in air mode despite not having anything chasing me.

Yeah I had my ghoul out when I started, but from what others have said it wouldn't have made any difference anyway. Now I have to wait an hour till I can even attempt to complete the quest.

EDIT: I hadn't read the debuff thing properly. It just says "You have flown x sorties recently and not completed a mission." Thankfully I tried to get another bomber anyway and it worked absolutely fine for me this time despite still have a ghoul out. Swapped between all modes multiple times without any problems. Hadn't logged out or disabled any addons, my advice is if it doesn't work for you the 1st time just try it again.

Easy quest, keep the green bubble up, timer is screen top right. Use two mouse buttons to aim rockets, and shoot the gargoyles behind you. Bomb when able, but this will be easy.

Yea good advice -- Keep sheilds up(i had to put out a fire once), Shoot AA on Gargoyles, bomb when ur free of Gargoyles. I couldnt get the AA to shot down enough to really hit things on the ground tho .... and i could get a plane as often as i wanted and i had summoned demons and addons running too

there is an upside down Y with spikey looking things comming out of it underneath the alduthar name on the map, where the I and the V meet. On that part way up in the air is where you go to talk to girl to get into plane thing.

Kibli Killohertz wants you to kill 40 Bombardment Infantry, 8 Bombardment Captains and 15 Gargoyle Ambushers.

Description

Infra-green technology allows us to stay hidden here, right over the Scourge's nose! What's more, we installed infra-green in specially constructed bombers... but not to hide them, no! We use infra-green tech to shield them!

Speak with Karen No and request a bomber. Fly it over the Bombardment... use its shields and turret to protect yourself, and use the bomb launcher to hit Scourge targets. Practice well, then return to me and I'll have an even more vital mission for you!
