There is a stack of bombs in front of the quest giver,just next to "the big whole".Just move in front of the q giver and you will see it.

Just so you know, it blows you into the air and down into the hole. Don't worry as this is where the next part of the quest line is.

after (or in) Cata, the fuse or the Saronite Bombstack, is now guarded by Orbaz Bloodbane (The Hand Of Suffering), a Lvl 80 Elite.
Didn't know how to pass him solo, so I just left it for another day to do...
