If you can't see them, just drink more. You have to be beyond "completely smashed up" to see these. And even then, you usually have to keep drinking.

If you're having a hard time spotting the Wolpertinger's because of all the blurryness being drunk you can go to your video-options and remove "Full-Screen Glow Effect" and your screen will no longer be blurry.

this is wrong they are rabbit like creatures that run around the area, you dont need to be drunk in any way to see them

pretty sure you dont need to be drunk to see these guys as they're always running about, the best place i've found (alliance)is by the tents at the start of the festival where you can pick up the ram quests, there really easy to see they just look like rabbits but move alot faster

How often can you do this quest? On the first day, I did it once. On the second day, I couldn't do it. On the third day I was able to do it again, and that was the last time I've been able to do so.

Anyone else?

Dunno if this is helpful, but a hunter's Track Beasts shows you each "Wild Wolpertinger" on the map.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I haven't seen a single one of those. I think I'm drunk. Ive drank some wine and when I run forwards my character steer to the sides by itself. Cant really say the screen looks blurry thought.

Edit: I drank loads of the more expensive alcoholic beverages and got drunk and started seeing them. :-)

if u have pressed the "V" key, they will show up as a yellow health bar, very easy to see after 5-8 drinks

Ok. Anyone out there that can tell me how to get the quest? I am smashed, and I have found him, but no quest. I found him just inside the "wall", by the wine vendor. Twin, or is this quest dead?

For this year's Brewfest (2008) you can buy him from the ticket gnome for 45s. Easy. Affordable. Enjoy. =)

The quest appears to be available again for players on European realms since patch 3.2.2. I'm doing the quest right now :)

Edit: It appears to be no longer available after the resets of this afternoon...

Like last year, this year(2010), this quest will not be available on EU realms.
The quest was removed from the EU realms during the 5am server restart, if you did it before 5am, lucky you, if not, forget it.

This quest is disabled on European realms due to some European laws.

Apparently this quest persuades people to attack and/or kill people whilst drunk.

I'm on an eu realm and as I type, people are getting the Wolpertinger achi. How, if it's disabled?

Note that you can do this achievement (and any of the other Brewfest achievements that require you to get drunk) and then enter /console ffxGlow 0 in your command line to remove all haze effects so you can see your toon and surroundings normally.

Please note that your can't actually do the quest while having haze disabled or you won't see mobs but as soon as your done just enter /console ffxGlow 0 and won't have to worry about the haze effects.

If you need to re-enable enter /console ffxGlow 1

Blizz apparently did not find this quest as amusing as most of us do :( bummer we can now buy the reward for a mere 35 silver ( with guild perk ) from Belbi Quickswitch (token vendor)

Ask same NPC for Synthebrew Goggles

Bind this macro to a key:

/equip Synthebrew Goggles
/target Wild Wolpertinger
/use Wolpertinger Net

Click 'till done.

It's helpful to have Track Target turned on (tracking options button near minimap) and Enemy Nameplates turned on ("v" toggles).

Goldark Snipehunter has asked you to capture 5 Stunned Wolpertingers using the Wolpertinger Net. He mentioned that you must be wearing Synthebrew Goggles to see them.

Description

Here now. Ye hear that? There be sounds in them hills. Those're the wolpertingers! Wily beasts, they are, attracted by the smells o' Brewfest. I've a mind to catch me some, but I knocked me shin and can't outrun the buggers. Ye can help me, though!

Take this net and cast it over the little blighters. Bring me a good five of 'em and I'll make it worth yer while!

One more thing - ye gotta use Synthebrew Goggles to spot 'em! Let me know if ya need a pair.
