The Setthek Halls are one of the wings off the middle of Auchidoun down below. This quest giver also gives you Terrokk's Legacy and Brother against Brother.

Brother against Brother is next quest in chain, but you can get it directly in Auchindoun. If you do that, this quest will no longer be available to you.

OK ... if you've never been to Auchindoun ... you can land at 44,64 on top of the steps near a couple of Bonethrashers. No NPC here. He is down below in the ruins, directly beneath the steps, at the same coords. There is a central entrance, as well as one off to each side. Enter the central entrance to find Isfar. Hope this saves some time!

enter at 44, 58 which will allow you to walk down a series of ramps directly to him at "41,65". This way you won't have to jump down and nearly die as you would if you started at the steps like I did. There's also no NPCs here.

Is there a hidden Pre-requiste for this quest? I'm at the quest giver on my 68 Shaman, but he doesn't have the quest for me.

Can not confirm, but I think this quest will not be available if you have completed Brother Against Brother.

In case anyone is somewhat confused, he is NOT in some special side room near the entrance to the lobby. Go INSIDE of the main lobby room which is the entrance to the Sethekk Halls and then enter INSIDE the dungeon portal itself to find Isfar for the turn-in. The coordinates above are accurate to locate the lobby entrance. If coordinates confuse some people, go into the eastern entrance in the Ring of Observance (outside area) and you will find it.

(reposting this here, in case people don't think to go directly to the NPC's page)

It seems that with 4.3, they moved this NPC to inside the actual Sethekk Halls instance. The question mark will still show where he used to be (the room with the fire - outside the instance portal) but he won't be there. Confused me for a little, until I tried zoning in on a whim. Watch out for the 67 elites that patrol pretty close to the NPC, if you're doing this at-level.

At 67, I was able to get to him without aggroing them. He gives the same quests as usual.

Speak with Isfar, who can be found just inside the Sethekk Halls in Auchindoun.

Description

I tried to persuade Isfar to remain here, in the safety of Shattrath, but he would have none of it. Instead, he's decided to venture out to Auchindoun again on his own.

He was lucky enough to escape the Sethekk Halls once, but if they discover him, there won't be a second time.

I admire his desire to free his sister, but he's not going to be able to do it without help.

Find Isfar and have a word with him, <name>. If you can't persuade him to come back, perhaps you could help him rescue Lakka?
