The experience is not had by walking around and / or finding something.
You speak to Wrathion or Sabellian, after you're inside, and ask for it.

Anyone know the eligibility criteria for this? My wife is also at 6/7 campaign chapters but this is not available for her, her campaign log says "Return later to discover what Sabellian and Wrathion found inside Aberrus". Neither of us have completed The Veiled Ossuary

For some reason I can't seem to get this quest, campaign said to go here to see what they found out, went there, no quest, relogged, and now the campaign says to come back later...

This was added on 13 June 2023 as a quest outside the raid entrance.

I must say, as a non-raider, I really appreciate being brought into the storyline after the events. This works with roleplay as well. "Oh, someone else cleared the area. Now, I can go in and investigate." Very nice.

The Flow Of This Quest

Rumor has it this quest series is good for Loamm Niffen reputation? so if you need to crank that for the Loamm weekly or just for the goodies, make sure that quest is in your log first.
(Quest giver location) Meet Emberthal and the Black Dragons at the feet of the raid entry stairs.
(Accept quest)
Listen to sympathy about what should have been. Ebyssian and Emberthal head off into the raid door. Do not follow them yet.
Listen to Wrathion and Sabellian. They know cleanup in there is still in progress, and suggest they and the champion should head in there after them.
Talk to either if you want to see their gossip text.
If you forgot to take off your nap robes or timewalking gear now's the time to switch back and gear up.
(quest advance) I'm ready, let's go in. Not precise text. You will be put into a Scenario Version of Aberrus.
Walk through the curiously empty entry hall since Wrathion's blacktalon team have been keeping it clear. Listen to Wrathion and Sabellian. Advance with them (I am not clear if you are following them or they are following you) to a reporting commander woman near the blockade at the end of the hall.
(might need to click to talk to her) She reports there's still some fighting. As far as I recall the RP here is the same as most people are ignoring when coming through at raider speeds.
Go past her, turn left. Head onwards and inward, dealing with...
...small simple fights along the way. Sabellian and Wrathion are capable combatants but not 100% tanky. Sabellian seemed to stay near me and Wrathion moves forward to melee. Both stay humanoid/visage throughout.
You can go along the curve of the stair a bit, fighting, but...
(talk to your Dragon!) Ask them What happened here? You will be presented the cinematic of Sarkareth's death scene.
Turn in this quest, and accept the next two in the chain, one from each of Wrathion and Sabellian.

Next quests
Sabellian declares the defending draconids traitors that need to be dealt with. You don't need to deal with very many. If you are able to single-target without splash damage, you can even pull singletons from tight packs.

Wrathion declares that the wrecked tanks need to be dealt with. You're given a quest object of an orange jar to use as a reticle to throw at the tanks. There will be wriggling small things to fight.

If you took the quest, and you killed Sarkareth, and Wrathion and Sabellian are not standing where they were so you can turn in the quest, go up to the instance door - they're standing in front of it, waiting for you to talk to them.

Hopefully you didn't spend a half hour looking for them, nor another half hour reading wowhead and failing to find this info, like I did.

Once you get inside, let them talk each time they start. I killed more than I had to for goldloot (cause I'm poor like that), and then flew on a taxi down to where you kill the Echo of Neltharion, and forward - without having to jump in lava! - and did a lot of RP.

Can't complete this quest! :( Get all the way to inside, get up the part where Sabellion kneels before the body of the Drained Djaradin.. and he just doesn't get back up.. he just stays there and will not move! Tried zoning out, abandoning and retaking quest..everything.. still hit the same issue! :(

I had the same issue, stuck once you go inside the instance, I couldn't interact with Wrathian or Sabellan and after trying all the usual tricks, logging out, reloading, abandoning etc. nothing worked

I read in one of the comments that a pre-req is Sojourner of Thaldraszus was required.... which was wrong (I spent half a day getting through all the Sojourners) and still didn't work

TLDR: What did finally work for me, is I followed the campaigns (I reached 70 without going through the storyline) - so I did all the campaigns to get to unlock Adventure Mode (Achievement is: "Just don't ask me how to spell it"

This finally worked for me, I went back and the I was able to learn the fate of whatshisname... and it was kinda fun but painful. Good luck!

Move to entrance of Aberrus
Speak to Wrathion & Sabellian
Click to (Quest) titled dialogue box.
After teleport to the raid, just move forward
Keep move to left side.
Check Djeradin's corpse to get quest.
Follow the questline.
Gz you completed the achievement.

Description

Sarkareth is no more. His hubris left him vulnerable to the dark influences that have assaulted our flight for millennia. Just like Neltharion before him. I believe Emberthal seeks more answers than what Wrathion and Sabellian are able to give. She may need some assistance.
