This NPC is standing on the Horde airship flying above Icecrown. He patrols from the upper deck to the lower so abit of searching might be required.

For the Winter Veil you need to cast an Mistletoe on him. Just target him and rightclick the item.

It is for the achievement Bros. Before Ho Ho Ho's.

The other brothers you need are listed below:

Durkot Wolfsbrother (Warsong Hold, Borean Tundra).
Brother Malach (War Quarter, Undercity).

Note: Tho you gave him the buff, it does not show up on him. So you might want to check if everything worked out well before flying away again!

This NPC is standing on the Horde airship flying above Icecrown.

This means you will need a flying mount with Cold Weather Flying (in other words, be at least level 77). Warlocks are unable to summon on this ship.

*grumble* And of course, Alliance don't have any "bros" in Northrend.

a warlock cannot summon a low level player *whos under level 77* to the air ship for this achievement.

Brother Keltan was fairly complicated if you are using the lowest possible graphics and are unable to set them high due to your computer being not up to date like my current one.
So the thing I did to effectively find him was set up a simple macro.

Just spam that or copy and paste spam it :)
Should work like a charm, it did take me a while to find him though even after I was looking around the patrol.

Go to the Bros Before Ho achievement comments to see how you can get to him if you dont have cold weather flying.
Took me 2 hours to get the right spot, but it works.

You can get to him before hit 77 and have Cold Weather Flying. I did this on my 72 hunter, it's not impossible.

It's simple travel to Icecrown and go to the coords 63.29 and simply just die there (my advice jump some times till you get enough damage that you get yourself killed). When you die you'll get on a flying mount and go back to your corpse, but DON'T ress, wait till Orgrim's Hammer is near your corpse.
When Orgrim's Hammer is near you try to get on it and ress.
The only hard thing is that is that you need to be pretty fast or it gets out of your "ress range" and you gotta wait another 30min.

Just completed this on a level 71 Death Knight.

Here is what I did. This took me 8 hours so to save though 77 and below people hopefully this will save you some time.

Here is what I did:

Travel to The Store Peaks, head to the very upper left of the map (you may need to die/rez a few times in order to get there). The enterance to get into icecrown is by 20,39

once there die/rez until you get to waypoint 63.6,30.1 if you are dead by this spot you can rez using the ghost flyer onto the cannon ball platforms.

hope this helps someone else and doesnt take them 8 hours! arhh

Don't go near the chains on the boat while your doing the res trick. You'll get stuck and /wrists.

If you do get stuck there, use the un-stuck tool. You won't have mount but you won't hearth or be stuck!

He is just wondering around the ship he has a daily on him for me but I have done the quests from the ship so not sure if he starts with that daily.

Brother Keltan is on the horde flying boat in Icecrown. He walks around in a circle around a small portion of the boat. the easier way to find him is to make a macro /target brother keltan and place it on one f your action bars then push the button and you will automatically target him!

If you open the world map, there is an icon of the ship's exact location. 8 hours and fancy dying skills not needed.

I wasted 3 mistletoe on this guy tonight but it wasn't showing progress toward the achievement (even though he had the buff). I thought it was because I was mounted, then I tried logging out and back in. That's when I realized it's because I had targeted the wrong blood elf on a Horde airship with a "K" name. Sounds stupid, but surprisingly easy to mix up. In conclusion, make sure you're targeting BROTHER Keltan...and NOT...Koltira Deathweaver. #blondemoment

To be very clear, as it took me a bit to realize, he is on the horde gunship in the air. Not on the ground. You can see where it is on the map. I was going for Holiday Bromance.

As I do with World Events... I've made an AddOn, which I uploaded to Curse, and it gives a ton of information about completing this World Event.

If you do care to download then I hope that you found it useful. Players unfamiliar with the layout of opposing capital cities will especially like my BB King information and yeah... I got the Bromance achievement covered too!

For classic WOTLK Merrymaker achievement 2022 for those sub lvl 77, here is what you need to do to reach him atop the airship:

Lock summons do not work. I had a friend try, it did not allow it to drop on the airship.

The loaner free mount is also not an option as it's not available to you in K3 until level 77.

Here is what you do: make your way to 63, 30 coords. North East side of the zone. Hike as high up the hill as possible. The dip between peaks here will be in the direct path of the air ship as it passes through.

Snug up as far as you can, you don't have to do any fancy cliff diving, just ride up to this coord and snug up to the hillside.

Now, to die. If your a lock use hellfire. If your a hunter use feign death till it times out. For any other class, you have at least a couple options:

Gnomish death ray- engineers only:
-pst somebody in zone and offer some gold for a quick couple duels. First round let him kill you. Start the second round asap and use the death ray. 2 ticks should do it for a suicide.

Skull of impending doom :
Reward from the star, the hand, and the heart:
Take a couple cliff dives just south of 63,30 get low health, then use the skull. That should make short work of you. (procs vary in hp drain. May need to do this a few times.)

Once dead, fly your ghost to the airship and hand out on the lower tier until you hover over your corpse. Tap space so your hovering just an inch above deck before you res so blizz doesn't detect rez on the ship (some report blizz sees you attempting the rez and can disconnect you).

When I tried, with my position, i could only res on the back cannon (hatches were too far above and didn't work). If this happens to you, fear not! You can rez on the rear cannon and repeat the duel-suicide strat to ghost rez on the ship deck (die on the rear cannon). I was concerned that my body would not stay with the ship, bit it indeed did, and was able to rez up top like a lvl 70 boss.
